A beautiful Cotswold cottage, warm and cosy in the heart of Quenington village in Gloucestershire. Recently refurbished the cottage is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, spacious light filled rooms, luxury furnishings, for a quiet comfortable stay. The space Upon your entry through the cottage front door, there's a bright country kitchen with cream coloured cupboards and terracotta stone floor. Here you will find a Neff oven, induction hob, microwave, washing machine, three tier heated clothes airer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, radio, food processor with plenty of utensils for cooking and baking. A full range of silverware, crockery and glassware including wine and champagne glasses. The kitchen leads into the warm spacious light filled dining room with a large oak dining table, chairs and sideboards. It’s ideal for a relaxed breakfast or a special evening supper. The oak table is also an ideal spot for working quietly on your laptops and in comfy chairs. A spacious fully carpeted sitting room with double aspect windows and garden views invites you to relax into deep comfortable sofas. Take an afternoon snooze or a quiet read in front of a woodburning stove. Or watch your favourite programs on the 32 inch smart TV streaming terrestrial programmes. There is unlimited high speed Wifi and mobile reception enabling Wifi calling if required. A contemporary cloakroom WC, an understairs cupboard, plenty of coat and shoe storage is throughout. The wide staircase is fully carpeted, it is quite steep and it curves half way up. There is a good handrail and it’s well lit. The headroom is lower over the stairs, you will need to mind your head when descending if you are tall. The staircase leads you to the first floor which is all fully carpeted. Here you will find two quiet and delightful double bedrooms and a full bathroom. The larger bedroom has a superking size divan bed, a comfy love seat sofa, mirrors, hanging space, storage and double aspect windows with views over the garden. The second bedroom has a king size divan bed with wardrobe, storage, mirrors and a pretty window overlooking the garden. Both of the inviting bedrooms are furnished with high quality pocket sprung deep mattresses, linens, beddings and throws. Please note there are no single or twin beds. The modern bathroom has a high pressure shower over the bath, glass shower screen, sink and vanity unit, WC and a large heated towel rail for warming fluffy towels. The cottage has oil fired central heating and double glazed windows throughout to ensure a warm welcome. In the Winter, the heating is timed to come on twice a day at a temp of 21c degrees. The cottage has good ceiling and doorway heights. However, it’s slightly lower over the stairs. There are a few small steps inside the cottage. Please feel free to ask for further details. The private enclosed garden is mainly laid to lawn and flower borders: it's a delightful sunny garden filled with seasonal flowers and many varieties of birds which come to visit. A patio dining table and chairs and umbrella sits just outside the kitchen for you to enjoy al fresco dining and cocktails at your leisure. A side patio houses a washing line and log shed. During the colder months, a welcome basket of logs will be provided for your first evening. Additional logs, kindling, firelighters are available from your Host or the local garden centres. Guest access Parking is free alongside the cottage on the roadside. Please be careful NOT to block the neighbours' garages and gateways. Please park close to the wall. Your private entrance to the cottage is via a pretty Cotswold green wooden side gate, the cottage name is on the gate. This leads you through your private garden to the front door also painted in Cotswold green. The lock box is next to the door. The gate and path are well lit if you are arriving after dark. The entire cottage, front garden and side patio will be privately available throughout your stay. The exceptions are; there is no access to; the loft space stairs, the back door or the small garden at the rear of the cottage. Other things to note Check-in 4pm-8pm your host will welcome you. The cottage accommodates a maximum of four guests plus one infant baby. Minimum age for children is 13 years old. Please note there are no single or twin beds. One pet dog is welcome on request and for a fee. A separate set of dog owner rules apply. No parties - no events, Hen or Stag parties. Quiet time between 10pm and 10am. No outdoor shoes on carpeted floors please. For stays longer than 7 days, additional cleaning charges and pet fees apply. Mobility Concerns please kindly note there is: one small step by the entrance gate, one small step inside the front door, two steps from the kitchen and dining room and two steps from both bedrooms. The staircase is wide, well lit and carpeted and it spirals half way up. The headroom over the stairs is lower in places. There are good handrails. There is a shower over the bath with no grab rails.
