Just a few steps away is Playa de la Arena beach and a 20 - 25 minute stroll along the coastal path takes you to the seaside enclave of El Pris, with several restaurant options, offering great fresh fish, cafe and bar. By the way...the water in the accommodation is drinkable by reverse osmosis. Mesa del Mar and El Pris are two coastal towns that still preserve their fishing tradition, linked by a pleasant walkway paved with cobblestones. Another small and pleasant promenade is the one that crosses the tunnel next to our building. Walking next to the beach of La Arena, if we continue a little further we find an old campsite. At the end of the walk we can see a castle-shaped building in the middle of the cliff, known as the castle of Óscar Domínguez, which was built by the father of the famous Canarian surrealist painter, and used in his leisure time.
