Shepherd's hut for two with magnificent views.

'The Bobbin' boasts the most incredible views of the Malvern Hills, from Midsummer Hill in the south, right along their length to North Hill. It is entirely self-contained (double bed, kitchen area and shower/toilet, all connected to the mains supply) with its own entrance from the country lane, its own garden and surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside and wildlife. It is ideally placed for walking and cycling, exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing with a book. The space The double bed folds out from the wall to allow for seating around the dining table and storage under the bench seats for bedding and your personal items such as clothing. The kitchen has everything (and probably more) that you need and we provide a small amount of milk for hot drinks, tea bags, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper. There is also hand soap and washing up liquid in the kitchen area. In the bathroom there is hand soap and hand lotion but please note, we do not provide shower gel or shampoo. Outside is a store of small wood for the indoor woodburning stove and larger pieces for the outside firepit. Underneath the indoor stove is a basket containing firelighters and kindling to get your first fire started. The firepit doubles up as a barbecue and it is recommended that you bring your own charcoal to mix with the wood if you intend to cook, as the combination gives a fiercer heat. Guest access A bolted gate separates The Bobbin form our house, along with a hedge and fencing for added privacy. Therefore, all of the outside space is yours and it cannot be seen from our house. Other things to note We have Bantam hens and a cockerel, so don't be surprised to hear them. Wildlife is a plenty...keep a lookout for numerous Red Kites and at certain times of the year, a Barn Owl that flies very low around the perimeter of the fields along the hedgerows. For those interested in astronomy, we are in a Bortle 4 area, meaning that there is 'a rural/suburban transition with a dark-sky rating, where the Milky Way is visible.'
