Unwind at Gite les Daurins, a charming two-bedroom stone cottage in the peaceful Charente countryside. The well equipped cottage has two large covered terraces with comfortable seating & eating areas, and exclusive use of the seasonal private pool - perfect for families and couples. Enjoy croissants & baguettes from the local bakery, sip morning coffee on the terrace, or relax and have a glass of wine while you lounge around the pool and soak up the countryside calm of Gite Les Daurins. The space The gite has two comfortable bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles that can be moved together to create a second double bed. Both bedrooms have skylights to view the unspoiled night sky, and convenient clothes storage. The bathroom has a shower and skylight. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, a kettle, and even a teapot! The welcoming open plan living space has a sofa, chairs, dining area and a wood stove for chilly nights. Double doors lead to a large terrace boasting a comfortable sitting area, and a second terrace with charcoal BBQ, and additional dinning table. You will have exclusive use of the fenced pool that offers more areas of comfortable seating and sun loungers for those long summer days under the sun. Guest access Guest have access to all outdoor areas on the property including exclusive use of the private pool, gardens and terraces. There is a separate farmhouse on the property which is our family holiday home but, for the privacy of our guests, it is never in use during gite rental season. Other things to note No smoking in the gite. Ashtrays are provided around the pool and terraces.
