Peaceful, Wooded Studio Basecamp!

Great jumping off point for enjoying the unique wonders of Alaska in a peaceful natural setting. Convenient, yet secluded. When you look outside it feels like you are out in nature rather than in the city. Inside, you will have a comfortable place to rest and recover. Hosts are happy to share suggestions of the best local places to explore! The space A clean, updated, and comfortable studio apartment with all the basic amenities, plus natural light, in-floor heating, soundproofing in walls/ceiling (much quieter but not perfect when our kids are active), kitchenette, washer/dryer, and access to a fire pit. Connected to our single-family home with separate driveway and entrance. Large forested yard frequently visited by moose, lynx, and other wildlife. Guest access Our home’s guest suite has its own entrance, which allows you private access to the entire guest suite area. You are also welcome to explore the lower wooded yard of our 1-acre lot. Other things to note If conditions are right in the winter, you will have access to our one-of-a-kind backyard sled park (sleds provided).
