Beyond the outdoor living areas is the large Farm over looking our pet cows We offer The Essentials: A fully equipped kitchen with two ring hobs, a small open oven, an air fryer, blender, pans, plates, utensils, and glassware Stocked teas for your convenience Two outdoor deckings: one at the front with sun all day overlooking the rolling hills of Great Gadderson, and the other at the back with a dining table and sofas facing our magical forest Bath and shower facilities in the provided toilets Firewood Bed linens & towels Bathroom toiletries Bathrobes & slippers Electric heaters Board games and DVDs You can also rent our Forest Spa area, featuring a large Wood-fire Sauna in a communal space for all guests. The spa area operates on a time slot booking system, detailed in your confirmation email, to accommodate all guests. We have several charming pubs in the vicinity, a 45-60 minute walk or a 6-10 minute drive away: The Alford Arms (reservation recommended) The Red Lion Water End (known for their delicious wood-fired pizzas) Bridgewater Arms The Crown and Sceptre Additionally, we are a short 20-minute walk from the delightful town of Berkhamsted, situated along a canal with numerous historic pubs, restaurants, cafes, antique shops, and a weekend market. We have established a connection with the Buddhist Monastery and constructed a picturesque walkway that leads directly to the monastery. The temple is open from 8am to 8pm, allowing visitors to engage in daily meditation sessions, an activity we highly recommend. Guest access The Jumble is fully private and you will have sole use of the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Guests can access our forest Spa area and use the sauna which can be booked via us with a time slot given. It is also self check in. Guests have full access to the grounds, woodland walks taking note that the cows may be in certain fields. The farm has many links to bridal pathways to some lovely country walks in the area. Other things to note Situated near Luton Airport, Croft Farm Escape is the perfect place for travelers looking for comfort and convenience. The Croft Farm is a communal space, and while we do our best to maintain your privacy you may bump into someone during your stay. Be as social or as private as feels comfortable for you though we pride ourselves on being a friendly bunch. We're in the middle of the country side, there will be wildlife! We do our best to ensure creepy crawlies indoors are kept to a minimum but if you do come across a critter, please be kind. We are a working farm and Glamping site, therefor there may not always be a member of staff around to say hello depending on time of arrival. Please head in and make yourselves at home.
