Enjoy our cozy apartment in a quiet part of Basel. From the apartment it will take you a minute to walk to a spacious park with playground, the Tinguely Museum and the majestic river Rhine. The Convention Center (Messe Basel, Art Basel) is less than 10 minutes away by foot, the city center 5-10 min by bus. The place is ideal for a couple or a small group. BaselCard included, free public transport, discount and reductions in all the city! The space The German train station Basel Badischer Bahnhof is less than 15 minutes away by foot and a bus stop is right around the corner from where you arrive at the center of Kleinbasel within mere minutes. Alternatively you can walk the slightly longer route next to the river and enjoy a scenic view. The 60 squaremeters big apartment is lovingly decorated with a mix of self-made art, handpicked thrifted furniture and plants, that will make you feel right at home. There is one bedroom with a queensized double bed and a relaxing, quiet atmosphere through minimalist design. The second room is our office / guest room and offers a comfortable sofa bed for two people. All our friends love it! The room also holds a workspace with a desk and an ergonomic chair. The large wall library in the living room contains books on just about everything, in French, German, and English, as well as the odd souvenir from around the world. The TV receives all major European channels as well as international news channels and the yellow heirloom couch invites you to rest after a long day exploring the city. In this room, you will also find a dining table for up to six people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite meals and a small sitting area. The bathroom has a tub for relaxing bubble baths. The real gem of the apartment is the balcony / wintergarden (Pictures follow soon!). It is very spacious, has another dining table that can seat five to six people, a comfy corner sofa and a bunch of plants. Other things to note The apartment is on the first level. The small garden on the groundfloor is shared with the other inhabitants of the building, which has two more apartments. A washing machine in the basement is also shared and can be used on two days a week. The apartment has a fast and reliable WiFi connection. It would be lovely if you could take care of the plants in the apartment while you are here – do not worry if you do not have a green thumb, there will be a how-to-guide. Due to allergies there is a strict No-Animals-Rule in our apartment.
