Creeksong NO FEES Tranquil Getaway in the Woods

Tucked away in Toe River Valley, you'll feel like you're far away but conveniences are only 15 min. away. Close to hiking, biking and swimming. For the comfort of all guests, no pets please. The space What you can expect Clean, charming, lovingly-appointed cottage in quiet peaceful setting. Very basic kitchenette and cooking supplies, wi-fi and streaming capabilities, two televisions, reliable verizon cell phone service. One King bed with a firmer thick memory foam mattress and one full size fold out futon sofa. Cottage is in a private wooded mountain neighborhood community and is easy to get to. It is peaceful and quiet, BUT NOT REMOTE WITH TOTAL SECLUSION. The cottage is clean, cozy and comfortable with attention to details and hospitality. But we are in the woods, so you may see a stray spider, insect, cobweb, etc. Winter Months We do not host guests mid November through late March. Guest access There are new entry steps and a new walkway for easier access from parking area and a new privacy screen on the front porch. Guests have access to Forest Service woods and trails above and behind our property. Browns Creek runs through several neighbors' private property so we ask that guests enjoy the view and sound of the creek, but not walk up and down it in order to maintain neighbors' privacy and avoid any liability issues. No ATV's. Other things to note We do see an occasional owl, hawk, black bear, bobcat, or coyote. Other wildlife is plentiful including deer, birds, hummingbirds, and bunnies. Setting is wooded, peaceful, quiet and serene with only a few and far between neighbor, and no free-roaming, aggressive, or barking dogs. Guests may hear neighbors' normal comings and goings from a distance, but overall experience is quiet tranquility. Please keep in mind, it is impossible for any host to accommodate every guest's personal preferences, sensitivities, etc and that you may potentially encounter something during your stay that is beyond the host's ability to predict, prevent or control.
