Set in meadows close to Bassenthwaite Lake The Barn at Mireside was converted in 2016 to a high standard and enjoys the comfort of underfloor heating, two bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Downstairs is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, a wood burner and large glazed window overlooking the cobbled yard. Outside there is a large garden, a sheltered seating area perfect for the afternoon sun, ample parking and a barn for storing bikes and other equipment. Guest access The Barn is fully self-contained and is bright and airy. The living area is open-plan. Ideal for family holidays. There are two bedrooms, a double room with an en-suite shower and a twin room. The family bathroom has a shower above the bath Other things to note Mireside is an ideal location to explore the Northern and Central Lakes with numerous options for walking, cycling or just taking in the scenery. If open water swimming is your thing then Bassenthwaite Lake is within walking distance. There are gentle walks to the Lake or St. Bega’s church or more strenuous challenges climbing Skiddaw from the door. Bikes and other gear can be stored in a locked barn
