Description
Chettle Campsite is an opportunity for a genuine camping experience. The site is off-grid, eco-friendly, and sits in a tree-lined meadow opening out into the rolling Dorset Downlands. Our six carefully curated bell tents allow for a comfy chic meets wild camping feel. The emphasis here is on relaxing, a retreat into the great outdoors, and avoiding the crowds. Pull up a hay bale or a hammock with a hot or cold drink. Explore the best of Dorset and enjoy a fire-lit night under the stars. The space Our blank canvass tents are ready for you to make your own. They come carpeted but otherwise empty for those who like to come prepared. Each includes a fire pit and grill and firewood is sold on-site. The site has well-kept compost loos, sinks for washing and dishes, and eco showers. The water is solar heated so can be fresh on cooler days. Guest access You can park onsite, not immediately next to your tents but very close by. We can help transport your things with wheelbarrows and nothing here is very far. The village is a 5-minute walk and Chettle is a good excuse to forget the car for a few days and explore on foot.
