This modern cabin is cozy, clean and ready to meet your every need, from 2 comfortable beds with luxury linens, leather couches in the living area, a Smart TV that can angle to be seen from the kitchen, a travertine tub/shower with twin bowl bathroom sinks downstairs and a marble shower bathroom with stacking washer/dryer upstairs. The space is ample and exquisitely designed with inspiring artwork on the walls. Outside, you can relax in comfortable cushioned chairs while your dinner grills on the BBQ. Wifi and Cell phone booster make you feel much less remote!! The additional sheepcamp can be added for a 3rd sleeping area....allowing for 3 couples, or parents with a son and a daughter who don't want to share a bed~! The sheepcamp residents use the bathroom and kitchen facilities so it can't be rented on it's own. It is rented from Spring through Fall, based upon temperatures...just a little space heater. Solar powered with 12 volt and USB ports and spot and mood lighting. If you want to book the cabin, please indicate one extra guest in order to add the sheepcamp to the booking. This is your Cabin....privately placed on the property, away from the owner's home. You will have a remote key fob to open the gate to the road to your temporary home. We are only a text away should you need anything, from suggestions, to maps, to recommendations.... however, after meeting you, we respect your privacy. You can see from our photos that our property is surrounded by acres of pasture land.....we sit amid a 565 acre ranch, (not ours) hayfields in the summer and large open snowfields in the winter. We are 3.5 miles up from the main highway which travels between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. There are two access roads, one heading upvalley to El Jebel, towards Aspen, where you find the Whole Foods Market among other grocery, restaurant, cinema options...and one heading to downtown Carbondale and downvalley to Glenwood, also with grocery, restaurant and cinema options. Aside from wifi, you have a wireless printer at your disposal. You can print maps of hikes you are interested in...or travel vouchers, or coloring pages for your children. Cellphone booster should keep you connected. Our wifi has just been upgraded to over 100mbps. Reminder: Please add one extra guest if you would like to add the sheepcamp....you'll then be charged $75 per night for the length of your stay. We are amending our minimum # of night's stay to 3 as we have an increased cleaning protocol with our 3 properties. Dogs are welcome, but we do charge a $25 pet fee per stay, per dog, max $50, with a 3 dog max. Dogs must be friendly, not just to you, and agreeable to the 3 canine hosts living here. Linens need a double washing to remove fine pet hair. We have a pooper scooper and bags available, as well as dog bowls and 2 small beds. If you are booking for a longer than 2 week stay, say a month, we will request that you have a housekeeper come and do a clean and linen change, that you will pay directly. We will of course help to arrange that. The cleaning you pay in the booking is for the end of your stay.
