Wake up to Pioneer Peak views in this private log studio tucked into the Butte. Perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for quiet, comfort, and quick access to Palmer, hiking, and fishing. It’s a great location for all that Butte, Alaska has to offer, including the famous Reindeer Farm just down the road. It’s a comfy studio with kitchenette and refrigerator. Perfect for an adventurous getaway in Alaska! PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A SECONDARY UPSTAIRS UNIT ABOVE THIS STUDIO. The space This is a clean, but modest, studio apartment. It has a full bathroom, kitchenette, TV, and a comfortable queen size bed. There’s also a comfy rocking chair with two bedside tables on either side of the bed. There’s a few books and games for guests to enjoy as well. A nice wooden table and two benches face the window with a view of Pioneer Peak. There’s no dresser or closet but the end tables have one drawer each. The kitchenette contains a refrigerator. There’s plates, cups, utensils, coffee pot, hot plate, microwave, electric kettle, toaster oven, and paper towels in the cupboards and drawers. Coffee is provided. In the bathroom there’s extra towels, toilet paper, and hair dryer. PLEASE NOTE: the knobs are switched in the bathroom sink. Guest access Your unit is to the far left of our garage. The door with key pad is in the back end. You can park right next to your door. You can access the entire downstairs unit (studio apartment style with bathroom). We will provide the door code before checking in the day of. Other things to note The unit is on the main floor behind the garage with an additional unit upstairs. THE UPSTAIRS UNIT IS OCCUPIED. However, your unit has triple thick insulation in all walls between the garage and the upstairs. We would like our guests to be aware of this before they book with us. Quiet time is at 10pm. If anyone is being too loud after 10pm we will ask them to be more quiet to make everyone’s stay more pleasant. During day time hours, expect light/mild noise from kids playing outside, the garage, and the upstairs unit. Please note that children do live here and that this is their home. If they are being too loud or bothering you in anyway, please send us a message so we can correct the problem. If you only have one vehicle there would also be space for a trailer. You can also park camp trailers, or RV’s for a $20 fee per night. If you have small kids we are happy to have them stay. We don’t have a crib, but if you do have a travel crib or pack and play you’re more than welcome to have them stay with you. Please note- in the winter months we would kindly ask that you please leave the bathroom door open when not in use, to prevent the water pipes from freezing. WE TAKE PRIDE IN THE CLEANLINESS OF OUR BNB. Rest assured that the entire room and bathroom has been cleaned and sanitized. We also will have a dated video recording of the entire unit after each cleaning for your protection and ours. Please no smoking on the premises. Please no pets. It’s essential for keeping the unit perfectly clean for all guests to enjoy.
