The space Primrose is a well lit and ventilated 3 BHK apartment with 2 bathrooms - one attached bath and one common bath. It is best served as a 3BHK for members of the same family looking for a budget stay for 6 members. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND the property if visiting guests are 3 couples looking for spacious accommodation for each, as the third room is very small and is a tight fit. For non family groups or friends visiting as couples, the apartment is comfortable as a 2BHK. - - - - - - - - - - - A P P R O A C H - - - - - - - - - Cars reach upto the building gate / entrance. The apartment is on the 1st floor (below road level) with a wide easy staircase of 15 stairs. Mall road to Primose by car takes 5 mins. Taxis typically charge Rs.400 for a drop from Mall Road. Walking to Primrose takes 15-30 mins. The last 5-10 mins of the road while walking to the apartment is a slightly steep road. - - - - - - - - - S U R R O U N D I N G - - - - - - - - Peaceful area as it is located in a VIP zone. Absolutely no chance of getting disturbed at 4 AM from the noise made by cars or tourists visiting Tiger Hill for the sunrise. This is quite a concern when you stay in the middle of town with the many hotels around. You deserve a well rested holiday. Wide roads outside the property makes it quite a nice place if you are a morning or evening walker with the Japanese Peace Pagoda just 15 mins away for a meditative experience. - - - - - - - - - - - - - R O O M S - - - - - - - - - - - - - BEDROOM 1 (180 sqft) : Queen size bed with an almirah and attached bath. It Has a private balcony. BEDROOM 2 (170 sqft) : King size bed with an almirah but without attached bath. BEDROOM 3 (70 sqft) : Queen size bed with just enough space to fit a suitcase rack and a side table. It does not have an almirah. *** This is a very small room *** Bedroom 2 and 3 share a common bathroom and a shared balcony. All beds are equipped with bed warmers as complimentary. Both bathrooms have 20 liter hot water geysers. Slippers, bath towels, toothbrush, tooth paste, toilet paper, body shower gel, shampoo and soap are standard amenities provided for all guests. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - K I T C H E N - - - - - - - - - - - Equipped with a 2 stove gas burner, microwave, toaster, fridge are the appliances available with adequate and necessary utensils and crockery. There is a water filtration system for potable drinking water. A hot water geyser is available above the kitchen sink to help aid washing of utensils during the cold. A dining table to accommodate 6 members and a compact living room space with small TV is available. Guests are expected & requested to wash utensils by themselves after use as this is a self service apartment. Our staff can provide DISH WASHING SERVICES for a CHARGE OF Rs.250 per wash. - - - - - - - - - - - P A R K I N G - - - - - - - - - - - - We have an independent garage with shutter to comfortably accommodate a single vehicle upto the size of a Hyundai Creta. For SUV's like an Innova or Scorpio, we'll need to keep the shutter half open. - - - - - - - - - - - - O T H E R S - - - - - - - - - - - - - Guest access Upon reservation, you’ll have the entire apartment to yourself, ensuring complete privacy with no shared spaces. Other things to note For food, you have the option to use our fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to cook. Alternatively, you can order from restaurants via delivery apps like Zomato. Please note that restaurants in Darjeeling close early, so it's best to place your orders before 8:30 PM. If you need groceries, there are local stores just a minute’s walk from the apartment, where you can find essentials like oil, salt, vegetables, milk, bread, and more. We can arrange taxis for pick up - drop from the airport / train station and for sightseeing.
