Welcome to Indigo Hills Eco-Resort! Modern, off-grid, eco-friendly cabins situated on the beautiful Bras d 'Or Lakes UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Just steps away from the beach, with unobstructed views of the lake from inside each cabin. Incredible sunrise and sunset views. Only a 32-minute drive from Sydney, NS. You'll love swimming, walking the beach, unwinding, and recharging here. Each cabin features an open-concept design, including a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping area, and bathroom. The space SLEEPING AREA: Our family-friendly cabin features 2 comfortable queen beds side by side in an open concept design. KITCHEN: Butcher block countertop, black corence granite sink, 2 burner propane cooktop, sink, and mini-fridge. For our coffee and tea lovers- we have a stovetop kettle, and french press or pour-over coffee makers in each cabin. Our cabinets are stocked with pots and pans, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and basic spices are provided. There is also an outdoor BBQ on each front deck for our guests to use. Small dining table with 4 chairs. BATHROOM: Our family-friendly cabin features a full bathroom with a bathtub. Towels are provided. Help us with our commitment to being environmentally friendly by using the provided hooks to hang up your towels to dry between uses. BEACH: We hope you will enjoy being just steps away from the shore of beautiful Bras d'Or Lake. If you forget to bring your own beach towels- please use our provided colored beach towels. Guest access There are 4 cabins on the property. Each cabin has its own parking spot and concrete front deck. Please be mindful and considerate of other guests during your stay. The beach area is shared, although there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Other things to note We are an off-grid accomodation with a commitment to being sustainable and environmentally friendly on the protected Bras d' Or Lake Biosphere Reserve. Cabins use solar power, a gravity fed well (not potable), and propane. Potable water for cooking and drinking is provided in jugs under the sink and in a dispenser on the counter. Please turn off lights when not needed to conserve power for yourself and other guests and be mindful of your water use. We do not have AC. Starlink Wi-Fi internet available since May 2024.
