Charming 1800s Cornwall Farmhouse

Charming, spacious farmhouse, built in 1800, in West Cornwall, CT. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms., fully-equipped kitchen. Front yard patio and backyard deck (view of woods). 1.2 acres. Wood burning stove/ oil heat, Wifi, TV, stereo. Kids' playroom with air hockey and foosball, arcade gaming (Atari and Nintendo), outdoor playsets. 10 min walk to the village/river. Hiking, swimming, skiing, and biking nearby: an all-seasons vacation spot. A 2-hour drive from NYC. The space There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 queen and 1 daybed twin that pulls out to two beds), plus a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The laundry room is upstairs. Downstairs, there is a kitchen, dining room, TV room, two living rooms, a kids' playroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Many rooms have been renovated and newly painted between 2019 and 2022. Some small areas remain to be painted/ fixed up, but overall, the house looks lovely. For those with children, there's a playroom with an air hockey table, a foosball table, two Arcade-1 Up Retro arcade gaming machines, and a TV w/Atari and Nintendo cartridge games (about 75 cartridges in all), toys, board games, books, lots of space, outdoor trampoline, swing set, and a large yard. We have a BabyBjorn travel crib, a toddler mattress, and a booster seat for dining available. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself. The house has 4 bedrooms and is 2725 square feet. We use one of the bedrooms as storage during rentals, so the house is rented as a 3 bedroom home (sleeps six maximum). We are animal lovers but pets are not allowed- no exceptions. Sorry. Other things to note We are happy to share our home with you, and hope that you will fall in love with Cornwall and the surrounding area as we have. We allow stays of up to 6 people, including children, with 4 people as a base, and each additional person at $25 per night per person. Our cleaning fee increases with more use, and so do other bills. We live in NYC, and this is our frequently-used second home. We make every possible attempt to clear out as many personal belongings as possible to welcome guests. You may use everything that you find in the home, including food and drink. We simply ask that you consider replacing any item that you used a lot of. Dogs not permitted due to the flooring having no protection (it only has a light stain, no polyurethane); also issues removing dog hair on furniture. Cats are permitted only if you are certain that your cat will not do any permanent damage to the furnishings in the house. Town beach is open late June to late August only. There are other nearby public beaches that are open outside of the summer months also, as well as a nearby public pool, outdoors. Reach out if you need any information.
