It's the perfect blend of eclectic meets historic charm. It has all the amenities and features high, soaring ceilings, a large living room, large bedroom loft with a queen-size bed, full kitchen, dining area, 2 bathrooms, desk, oversize ceiling skylights, ample lounging and living space throughout. Recent updates include tile & paint in the bathrooms, fresh paint, eclectic decor, objects d' art, and refreshed wide pine floors. THIS IS NOT A PARTY SPACE! This Loft is ideal for life adventurers, artists, musicians, thinkers, writers, solo travelers, lovebirds, and anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of Portsmouth. The stairwell is shared with a hair salon below the loft apartment. *NOTE: There is no elevator. There are 3 flights of stairs to access the Loft. Other things to note The location is downtown and you should expect to hear the sounds of people, nightlife, cars, motorcycles, and church bells– all the common sounds you'd hear from an active downtown destination. It's an old building and there is no sound insulation between the Loft and the Salon below. You may hear people talking but not on a daily occasion as the salon is open by appointment only. There is on-street metered parking during the day, a paid parking garage and a free parking lot (our recommendation) within a few minutes walk. Ditch the car at the free parking lot and walk everywhere in town!
