Solace by the Sea Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage with an amazing seafront view. Located right on the Northumberland Strait with beautiful views of the sunrise and ocean, halfway between Bouctouche and Cocagne, it's the perfect base for your Maritime adventures. Whether you want to day-trip to local attractions (Moncton, PEI, Fundy National Park, Kouchibouguac, Bouctouche, Shediac) or putter on the local beaches, you're right in the heart of Acadian life. The space Comfortable and rustic with a large, open-concept common area and 3 small bedrooms. Property is an acreage with working vegetable and flower gardens plus forest for exploring. The cottage is located a few meters away from the main house with a beautiful view of the ocean. Guest access Feel free to wander around the property, through the gardens, or back into the fields and woods. There’s lots of space to stretch and relax. The nearest beaches are a few hundred metres north (at the bridge) or 1 km south by the mailboxes (an easy 9 minute walk or 1 minute drive). At low tide, you can access the water all along this coast. For more traditional white sand beaches, the Bouctouche Dunes and Parlee Beach are within half an hour's drive, north and south. PLEASE NOTE: There is no direct, easy access to the ocean across the street from the cottage. The ocean is sandy and shallow but the shore is rocky and there is a guardrail. Other things to note There is no smoking in or around the cottage or other buildings. Smokers can cross the road or go back by the firepit. We're happy to be a pet-friendly listing, please ensure they're added to your reservation as there is a pet fee. If there is more than one pet, please contact us for approval. While the interior is all one level, there are 5 steps up to the front door.
