Conveniently located 8 mns to the town of Windham,15mns to Hunter & 8 mns to Windham Manor , our vacation home offers four season enjoyment of the Catskills. The location has a secluded feel yet is close to all. The home features 4 equally sized large bedrooms, 3 full baths, office, well equipped kitchen, grand cathedral windows and a large deck overlooking an expansive yard and rushing creek A true home away from home, the Creekside Lodge is perfect for guests to get away and enjoy the the Catskills. Serving as our own vacation home, our family is happy to share it with you. First Floor The living area features an open floor plan with a connected living room, sitting area, dining room and kitchen. Soaring cathedral ceilings, a wall of windows and a wood burning stove truly bring the outdoors in to the living area. The kitchen is well equipped and offers an oversized peninsula with seating for 6. The adjoining dining room has a farmhouse dining table that seats 8. Also on the first floor is an office featuring a desk, office chair, wireless keyboard and mouse making it easy for guests to stay connected or even isolate to work remotely. The office can easily accommodate a blowup mattress, expanding the sleeping space. The living area opens onto a large deck, overlooking the yard, creek and mountainous backdrop. Foliage and stone walls create a private valley of tranquility where guests can connect with nature. Second Floor ***AC on each Bedroom ** Four equally sized large bedrooms and two full baths are connected by a open view of the grand windows. Looking out from two of the bedrooms are full walls of windows, offering views of the mountains and creek that border the property with high ceiling curtains for privacy as needed. All bedrooms feature vaulted ceilings, TVs with Amazon Firesticks. -Bedroom 1: This is the primary bedroom has one queen bed and en suite bathroom. -Bedroom 2: Features two bunkbeds and is perfect for children. This bedroom has a wall of windows overlooking the living area and the great outdoors. -Bedroom 3: This is our ski themed bedroom has one queen bed and one full bed. -Bedroom 4: Beautiful zen bedroom with queen bed and a wall of windows overlooking the living area and great outdoors. Take advantage of the functional backyard space, a large flat area whose length is bordered by a flowing creek, providing a background of tranquility to any season. A large firepit is surrounded by log benches, the perfect social center for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Outdoor games and Adirondack chairs are available for use during your stay :) Though we do not live onsite, our property manager is local and available by Airbnb app or phone. Guests may park onsite Minutes from the Town of Windham, there are many restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy during your stay. Skiing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Tubing are just a short drive from the property.
