The Moonlight manor is a themed 2 bedroom, 4 beds, 1 bath shared (private upper floor) based out of a 150-year-old Victorian mansion in the heart of Oakland. Christina, the creative director and hostess recently had a son and decided open her home to Airbnb to support her family! With experience in Costume design and Stagecraft, we bring to you a themed hideaway experience! go camping indoors, jump back in time to the 1920s, or enter the world of Beetlejuice. Adventure waits! (We do not share indoor spaces) Our rooms are highly set designed with an enormous attention to detail. 🛏️ This listing includes 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 1 couch bed, common room, kitchenette, bathroom. 🏕️ Camping room - Cal king loft bed 🔮 Art Deco- Moroccan Den connected with large pocket doors queen and twin beds 🪲🧃 Beetlejuice common space. Fold out couch 🍕 Kitchenette - Fridge, microwave, hot water kettle, coffee, tea, bowls, plates, water, silverware. Hot chocolate bar. Milk upon request. Not a full kitchen. 🪩 Full pink disco bathroom - Claw foot tub/shower Desire more rooms, a full kitchen or have more people sleeping over then please see our 5 bedroom listings. Can’t find it? Message me and I will send it on over. When you enter through the front door you will go straight upstairs. Innkeepers along with my family and I, including my infant son occasionally visit the downstairs and backyard. Please note, you may hear muffled noises from us but in general we keep low profiles. If you do happen to see us working in the backyard you are welcome to say hello anytime. Everyone who works on The Manor is friendly and we love meeting its visitors. 👵🏻 Our home is an old Victorian. We do our best to keep things comfortable for our guests but when we have extreme weather it is harder on these old houses. We have AC units and space heaters in each room and extra blankets. Please just be aware before booking you will get a glimpse of what it was like to live 150 years ago. If you would rather have a classic hotel comfort experience, we might not be the place for you. 🤍 My home is a safe space for folks from all minority and marginalized groups. I welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations. 🎃 Also note if you are booking in holiday seasons we will be decorating extra! Fall, Halloween and Christmas go big around here. (Nothing gore or super scary for Halloween. Classic, elegant or cute) Guest access When renting the moonlight manor you will have access to the entire upstairs of the Victorian house. It is divided from our downstairs. That includes. Camping room with cal king loft bed (you have to climb stairs to get inside) Art Deco room with full sized bed and connected Moroccan chill den with twin bed. The Beetlejuice room is livingroom like, but has a couch that can fold out into a bed. Hallway has a mini kitchenette with microwave, hot water, mini fridge, cups, utensils and coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar. Not a full kitchen Bathroom is pink with a claw foot tub that also has a shower curtain if you’d prefer a shower. Disco balls and lights. No parties allowed on this listing. Currently yard access is currently restricted to our front porch and flower garden. We never go upstairs during your stay unless you request cleanings. Hard walls separate us from you. All bedrooms have lock and keys. Security cameras are posted on the front and back doors. Also most Victorians are series of rooms. There is no open lay out like modern houses. Other things to note When you book here know that your money is supporting a single artist mommy! Your business is incredibly supportive to my little family and keeps creativity alive in Oakland.
