The open kitchen area is expansive. The entire house has a very open feel to it, with skylights even in the spacious hallway. Outdoor seating areas include the front porch, back veranda, poolside, front garden bistro area. Stroll through the native gardens and into the vineyard. Pluck a fruit along the way from our many fruit trees - orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, persimmon, plum, apricot, peach, apple, kumquat, jujube, pomegranate etc.. Pictures do not do this property justice and every season brings something unique to the garden. The mountain and vineyard views are breathtaking. Our property manager will greet you upon arrival and walk you through the house to explain "how things work". During check out, you will be met as well. You will have access to all areas with the exception of the garage, pantry and a few cupboards that are locked in the house. Please take care when strolling the vineyard. It is a working vineyard and we sell our grapes. Our property manager is within easy reach at any point of time during your stay. Do not hesitate to call with even the slightest question. You may never want to leave the gorgeous setting of Vineyard House, however, there are plenty of things to do nearby. There are over 40 wineries in very nearby vicinity, with 7 of them within walking distance. Aside from wine tasting, many of them provide food and certainly entertainment on the weekends. If wine isn't your thing, how about visiting one of the 10 local breweries! Want to burn off those alcohol calories? - try hiking in nearby Cleveland National Park. There is a terrific Dripping Spring Trail or Wild Horse Trail a 10 minute drive from Vineyard House. Better yet, get on a horse and ride through the vineyards at one of the nearby stables. Do make time for a ballooning adventure. Balloons take off in the early morning, so you won't be giving up any of your "tasting" time. Be sure to save some time to visit Old Town Temecula. It is really cute and has a large number of tasty restaurants, bars and music. There is even the local playhouse. Saturday mornings you can visit the farmers market right in the center of town. How about a Ghost Tour or a visit to the Historical Museum? Try the olive oil and other olive products at Temecula Olive Oil Com. I am sorry to say that this total 12% fee must be passed along to you. Air BnB will be automatically collecting these fees at time of booking. As per the local requirements, you will need to sign a form upon arrival, designating one person as the responsible person for your group. You will need to provide a government ID at the same time. In case of any disruption during your stay, the official would expect to speak to the person named as the responsible person. Noise restrictions in Riverside County are extremely strict. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM. If you are looking for a party house , look elsewhere. Noise levels will be monitored and a $500 fine charged for excessive noise. No outdoor activities after 9:30 PM. For your safety, we have outdoor security cameras. Cameras face the driveway and the pool. The vineyard is a working vineyard. Please note that there may be times when the vineyard manager is onsite tending to the vines. It is possible that you will be staying in the house during harvest, at which time you can expect a crew with lights to be picking during the night. The lights are localized in the vineyard and will not be a disruption. Harvest generally takes place in mid-August. We have native plants throughout our yard. Please take care not to get pricked. We have a regular drip coffee maker and also a Keurig. Bring the coffee of your choice.
