The space Often AIRBNB apartments are outfitted as a sparse extended-stay hotel. This historic petite jewel doesn't fall into that category; it was professionally decorated with special care to the little things including guest robes, plus white towels, Peacock Alley bedding, memory foam luxury hotel pillows, extended toiletries, and a reading library featuring local history as well as best sellers. Artwork, mirrors, leather chairs, silk area rugs, and even my husband's tongue-in-cheek Budweiser refrigerator were all carefully selected to make the space true to its history. The large balcony tucked in the trees offers privacy with gauze curtains, reading chairs, outdoor dining and Edison lights. The location on sought-after Davis Islands is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Guest access We will tie a yellow ribbon on your key(s) and attach them to the topiary at the foot of your stairs at 4pm the day of check in. Luggage storage is available prior to and after check out. You have the entire apartment to yourself; no part of it adjoins the main home. There is shared access to the laundry room detached from the home. There is additional refrigerator space in the storage rooms under the apartment. Other things to note All cleaning products used meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The doors are opened to allow fresh air to come in during each cleaning. All door handles, furniture handles, light switches, nightstands, tables, toilet seat and handle, water faucet handles, shower, shampoo, conditioner, soap dispensers, sinks, counter tops, temperature controls, TV controls, microwave, coffee pot, refrig, shutters, and flooring have been cleaned. Glass and dishware have been washed in sanitize cycle of dishwasher. All linens, towels and blankets have been replaced with clean ones, which have been sanitized. Material cushions have been sprayed with disinfectant.
