Check out family-owned local faves - Diamond's Family Restaurant & Krekel's Kustard Kick off your shoes and relax—you’ve found your home away from the shore! 🐚🌊 The space Welcome to our beachy cottage—where flip-flop comfort meets vacation-ready vibes all year long! 🏖️ NO SMOKING inside please—fees start at $250. We provide a large ashtray on the front porch. Don’t toss butts in the yard. 🐾 Pet fee: $18 per pet (2 dogs max unless approved). Cats OK by request. Add pets to guest count. Interior: Vinyl plank floors in living areas, carpet in bedrooms. 🍳 Kitchen: Coffee station, glass-top table, 5-burner gas cooktop, convection wall oven. Stocked with coffees, teas, condiments, cookware, wine glasses & a dog treat dispenser + bowls. 🛁 Bath: Tub/shower combo (pull down on the spout to activate shower). 🛏 Bedroom 1: Queen bed w/ split soft & firm mattress. 🛏 Bedroom 2: 2 twin beds + mini crib (50 lb max). Baby-friendly: outlet covers, cabinet locks, baby gate. 🌬 Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, nightstands & closets with hangers. 🛋 Living room: Couch, 2 armchairs, wall desk w/ adjustable chair, flat-screen TV. 🧺 Washer & dryer in basement (new set 2/25). We provide detergent pods, dryer sheets & a hanging rack for delicates. 🌡️ Guests control heat & cooling. Guest access ☀️ Welcome to Your Coastal-Style Retreat—Right Here in the Midwest! 🌴 Guests have full access to the entire house (minus the garage & basement storage closet). Start your mornings on the breezy front porch with a cup of coffee and coastal daydreams. ☕🌊 🚗 The long driveway fits 3 vehicles easily—bring your boat or beach toys and back right up to the garage. For added peace of mind, we’ve got a Ring video doorbell and a garage-mounted motion sensor cam with floodlight. Most of the outdoor area is covered for safety and security. 🌴 Out back, you’ll find a large privacy-fenced yard with a 14x14 deck—your own private slice of sunshine! It’s a perfect play space for kids and pups to roam freely. The deck includes a patio table with 4 chairs. 🔥 There’s a charcoal grill ready for your cookout cravings! While we don’t supply charcoal or lighter fluid, check the cabinet to the right of the oven—some guests leave supplies behind for the next wave of travelers. 🏖️ This beachy escape may be miles from the ocean, but the vibes are 100% sunny and relaxed. Come kick off your shoes, sink into comfort, and enjoy a stay that feels like vacation—no passport needed! 🐚🌺🩴 Other things to note 🔥 End your day island-style with a cozy fire under the stars! Our backyard fire ring is the perfect spot for s’mores, stories, and stargazing. You'll find a lighter in the drawer to the left of the kitchen sink. Note—we don’t provide firewood, but local stores have bundles ready to go! When the flames die down, be sure to fully douse the fire. (there's a water pitcher in the cabinet under the coffee bar) 🌙🌴 ☀️ Seasonal note: The grill & fire ring take a well-earned vacation after Labor Day and return just in time for Memorial Day beach vibes. 🏖️
