Each mattress is also protected with a SafeRest premium hypoallergenic cotton mattress protector against allergens, dust mites, bacteria, and perspiration. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and a twin trundle bed as well as a 55" Samsung TV with Spectrum cable and high speed internet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and twin trundle bed. The third bedroom has adult bunkbeds that hold safely hold up to 400 lbs on each twin size bed. If you need additional sleeping space, we also have a Queen plush Fiber-Tech air mattress available. Highland Falls is a small community outside the gates of USMA West Point. While the town is walkable, we suggest that you have access to a car. Less than a third of a mile to United States Military Academy at West Point and all its conveniences… a nice stroll to USMA, Thayer Gate Deli & Café, or to town if you like. A very quiet neighborhood that allows you to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful backyard and covered front porch. We are an easy 15 minute drive to the Garrison train station (MNR) - Hudson River line; 15 minutes to the NYS Thruway and less than 5 minutes from the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP). It is very commutable to NYC, as most people who live in the area commute to NYC on a daily basis. We are minutes of Bear Mountain State Park, and Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets. CLOSEST TRAIN TO PENN STATION/MIDTOWN/MANHATTAN: Drive 12 mi to Salisbury Mills/Cornwall NJ Transit station for $3 daily parking– Take Metro North Train (Port Jervis line) to Secaucus. Change trains to Penn Station. (TheNJ Transit phone app is helpful). CLOSEST TRAIN TO WORLD TRADE CENTER: Drive 12 mi to Salisbury Mills/Cornwall NJ Transit Station $3 daily parking (Port Jervis line) to Hoboken. Change trains to World Trade Center station. Bear Mountain State Park has gorgeous mountains and has hiking along the Appalachain Trail, large play fields, shaded picnic groves, lake and river fishing, swimming pool, trailside museum and zoo, hiking and biking, cross country ski trails, outdoor ice skating rink and even a merry go round. If booking for West Point (USMA) graduation weekend, the whole week must be booked 7 nights: check-in Monday, check-out Sunday.
