A loved and thoughtfully curated 2 bedroom flat, centrally located in Notting Hill Gate. Just 5 minutes to Kensington Palace Gardens entrance to Hyde Park, 10 minutes to Portobello Road and 3 minute walk from the tube - easy to explore further afield. Both bedrooms are furnished for rest with comfortable mattresses and hotel quality bed linens. We hope you enjoy your stay! The space I'm a designer and I designed this two bedroom lower ground floor flat to be the perfect base when visiting London. Conveniently located in Notting Hill Gate, with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle with total ease. Built in the late 1800s, we chose rich Victorian colours (in line with its history), making it feel cosy and calm. A haven from the busy energy of the area. Because of its lower ground location, it has great insulation, naturally keeping cool in the summer and warm in the winter, with the central heating system controlled by a smart thermostat. You are also protected from the sounds of the street. The apartment is eclectic combining modern upgrades with vintage and designer pieces. The living area is a spacious and inviting space for everyone to gather, kick back and relax after a day's exploration. Sink into the large sofa, with a glass of something chilled and unwind by dimming the lights and watching your favourite TV shows. The fully equipped kitchen has a full fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher- should you wish to stay in and recount the tales of the day around the mid-century dining table. The serenely furnished bedrooms, are cosy and designed for peaceful sleep. They have very comfortable double beds, dressed in fresh, hotel-quality linens. The luggage room is equipped with full length mirrors, a decent hair dryer and hair straightener. It has plenty of space to hang your clothes and store your belongings - no need to worry about living out of suitcases. The bathroom is small but well designed with a very large walk-in rain shower. White fluffy towels are provided. Feel revitalised and get ready to hit the city in style... My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Transport notes Notting Hill Gate is the nearest station to the property, just a 3 minute walk away. This connects you to the Central, Circle and District lines. Bus 27 goes to Camden, Bus 94 to Picadilly Circus, Bus 148 to Hyde Park corner. And a few more. Use the 'Bus London' app. 30 minutes walk to marble arch and 45 min to oxford circus. Such great transport links mean you can get to iconic London sites in no time at all, such as Portobello Road, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. Exploring London could hardly be easier!
