The bathroom is accessible from both the family room and the bedroom, so guests staying in the family room need not disturb those in the bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen gives you the freedom of eating in if you’re too tired to try one of the many fabulous restaurants in the area. Centrally located, yet off the beaten path, The Bear’s Den is a short drive to both downtown Glenwood Springs and Sunlight Mountain Ski Area. The Bear's Den is located in the peaceful hills west of town and shares nearly 6 acres of wooded private property along Four Mile Creek. Don't come this far to stay downtown when you can enjoy wildlife viewing during the day and stargazing at night. Accessible year round, The Bear’s Den has it all. Glenwood Springs is truly a wonderful vacation spot with all its available activities. We are close to alpine & crosscountry skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, biking, rafting, fishing, shopping, or just soaking in the world famous hot springs... you’ll never run out of things to do! We are a pet friendly property and welcome both short and long terms stays. (We own The Alpen Haus, The Alpen Den, The Bear's Den and Casa Del Sol. All of which are on the same property. Rent multiple units to accommodate larger parties of 20 or more.) You have complete access to the entire Bear's Den. It is its own structure and has a great patio off the back side. Check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 11. I am available to provide recommendations and suggestions on things to do, restaurants, etc. Just call or text.
