ICE FISHERMEN, easy ATV & SNOWMOBILE access to EAST GRAND LAKE from the cabin, All new BAIT SHOP at the Millyard. High Speed Internet, Super Clean, No Clutter & Heats Easily. Located on Rt 1, Weston near connector trail 105, 1/2 mile to the Lake & Butterfield Landing. The East Grand Lake area is a well known destination for fishing, boating, deer & grouse hunting. The camp is 3.5 miles to Danforth center. SORRY, NO PETS. 2-night min. with 3 night-min. during peak season, mid June-labor Day. The space Cabin is on a 1.5 acre lot next to Route 1, Weston surrounded by lawn and trees. Cabin is just over 900 square feet and has an open concept. the the first floor is the living room, dining area, kitchen, bath and one bedroom with a double bed. The loft accessed by a spiral staircase has a king size and 3 twin beds. In the loft, it is 6'8" from the floor to the peak of ceiling and 5'6" from the corner of the king size bed to the ceiling. Totally renovated in 2022 with a camp like atmosphere. Dave your host lives next door about 100 yards away from the property. Guest access With a wrap around driveway you can pull in and pull out with one or more boat or snowmobile trailers. You can drive right up to the cabin and park. The entire property and cabin is yours and not shared with anyone else during your stay. Other things to note NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS OF MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE! The maximum number of guests is 5, but if you are a family with children, I will allow up to 7 and there is an additional fee of $25 per child per night when they are the 6th and 7th persons. Inquire and I can invoice you for the 6th and 7th person if they are a child. Note, my cabin is NOT suitable for infants (ages 2 and under). It is NOT ACCEPTABLE TO SHOW UP WITH more or have in overnight MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU HAVE REGISTERED! May-October, Solo Yukon smokeless stove (fit pit) in the back yard that you can enjoy. It can be used to cook over, it has a stand that can be used with a grill. Bundles of hardwood provided by local high school student Gavin Kinney available for purchase onsite, $6 per bundle with free kindling/fire starter, leave cash in can. Note, if you are bringing your own seasoned hardwood. It should be no longer than 17" so it fits into the stove . It is against the law to bring wood in from out of state unless it has been heated and labeled as such as to prevent bringing invasive bugs into the area. During the snowmobile season, January-March, I will have flexibility with cancelations and refunds for those coming with the purpose of trail riding when the trails are unusable and when heavy rain is forecasted. Your host is also the trail master, groomer operator and oversees the club's trail report for the local East Grand snowmobile Club. You can message him for the latest conditions prior to booking. A groomed snowmobile trail is located directly across the street and will bring you to connector trial 105 north and south in about 300 yards. A groomed trail to East Grand Lake is across the street and the trail brings you to the lake at Butterfield landing. The landing has a place to launch your boat with a concrete ramp and parking lot for your vehicle and trailer. Note, bringing groceries with you after hours is recommended. Winter Hours: Knights Grocery store (3.5 miles away) closes at 8PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays at 9PM, Sunday hours are 9-6PM. The Millyard, the area's only place to buy fuel with 90 octane, ethanol free, 24 hour pay at the pump. The Millyard also offers dining in and takeout. Hours are Mon-Thurs 4AM-8PM, Fridays 4AM-9PM, Sat. 6AM-9PM, Sundays 7AM-8PM Note, the grill shuts down one hour prior to closing.
