Please Note: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. We kindly request that you smoke outdoors, at least 25 feet away from all entrances, whether on the deck or in the driveway. Smoking within the home is not allowed. We also ask that you refrain from discarding cigarettes off the cabin porch or decks, as this poses a serious fire hazard. To accommodate smokers, we provide ashtrays on the deck and driveway. Any evidence of smoking inside the cabin will result in an additional $500 cleaning fee charged to your credit card, in addition to an automatic forfeiture of your security deposit. Digital Key Code Given Right Before Check-In Time Chalet Village is a small neighborhood 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. As part of the Chalet Village, you will have access to multiple community swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, and clubhouses year-round! Please note, however, that the pools are closed for the winter. We'll provide two keys for guests to use to get themselves into these areas. The home is very private even with the floor to ceiling windows as there is quite a bit of tree cover. The road to the home is in the mountains and is paved all the way to the home and driveway. However, please note the roads are windy and can narrow down to a one and a half lanes in some places, so it may be tighter than what you may be used to driving on larger roads for large trucks and vans. However traffic is sparse and you will generally be one of the few cars on the road in the neighborhood. The driveway can fit 4-5 cars. PLEASE NOTE: In the winter time we strongly recommend either a 4x4 or chains to get up to the cabin as the mountain road can get icy from the weather. The city does plow and salt the road but it can get icy from time to time. - Bae Chalet is located on a mountain, which means stunning views on the drive up! But it also means you'll want to be mindful when driving on the roads leading up to the home. -TV streaming services require your own login. - 90% of cabins in the Smoky Mountains are placed in areas where wild life live, which makes it so serene. It is not uncommon to encounter wildlife animals, such as bears while staying in cabins in the Smoky Mountains.
