Our recently renovated apartment is just a short stroll to the beach, park, bowling club, restaurant strip and Convention Centre - all you need for your holiday getaway. Or if you're keen to explore, you'll have the perfect base for day trips to the Hinterland, theme parks, wildlife parks, beaches and dining or shopping precincts up or down the coast. Note: minimum stay is 3 nights The space --- NO SCHOOLIES OR PARTY / GROUP BOOKINGS---- Note: As with everywhere in Broadbeach, there is building construction close by during the week days between 7:00am - 4:00pm. Hopefully over the public holidays/school holidays they take a few extra days off work, as it can be noisy depending on the work they are performing. If you're out and about at the beach, shopping or theme parks most of the day it won't be a issue but please be advised! Note: we've recently redecorated the apartment. Make use of the large, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, as well as a butler's pantry with a washing machine. If an outdoor BBQ is on the cards, enjoy the sun-drenched (morning) or cool-shady (afternoon) courtyard and Weber 'Baby-Q' complete with a six-seat dining table. Comfort is king after a day exploring the beautiful coastline, and our our premium leather couches and top-of-the-line mattresses won't disappoint. Please note: One of the large burners on our stove top has just stopped working, we're unable to get an electrician in to fix or replace it in time. Guest access Access to our apartment is via a small set of 6 stairs - it is not wheelchair accessible. Our building does not have a pool or off-street parking (lots of free street parking available on Rosewood Ave or in front of the soccer fields of Nikiforides Family Park with soccer fields, Bowls Club and the Broadbeach Surf Lifesaving Club) however there may be 3-4 hour time limits. Other things to note Please ensure you read through all the information provided in this listing and ask any questions before making a booking. We welcome you into our home - you will have access to our whole apartment. Please note this is not an investment holiday unit - there are personal belongings around, clothes in the cupboards and our photos on the walls. We want you to feel comfortable and use what you need, but to respect our privacy and possessions and treat our home like you treat yours, and leave it clean and tidy. We have new air-conditioners in the main bedroom and the living area and the whole apartment is tiled, which helps in the mid-summer heat. Please ensure you turn off the air conditioner when you leave the apartment or overnight. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Broadbeach is a popular holiday destination - although our street and apartment building are generally very quiet and peaceful please be aware others may be celebrating the holidays, and also request that you are mindful of our neighbours and not to have loud music or TV on after 8pm or sit outside in the courtyard talking loudly after 8pm (as the sound between the buildings echos and neighbours can hear every word).
