Peaceful Crowley Lake Studio

If fishing, boating, paddling, hiking, biking, winter skiing, nearby hot springs or just relaxing are your vacation goals then you are going to love the Peaceful Crowley Lake Studio! Our one bed/one bath studio is located in the heart of Crowley Lake, California. Just 1.5 miles from Crowley Lake Fish Camp and 20 minutes from Mammoth Mountain. The space Our private one bed/one bath studio is located in the heart of Crowley Lake, California. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains between Bishop (30 minutes away) and Mammoth Lakes (20 minutes away.) This studio features some lake views from the wrap around windows, full kitchen, full bathroom, wood floors, and modern electronics. We provide complimentary K-cup coffee, sugar and liquid creamer singles. We provide towels, toilet paper, hair dryer and bathroom amenities. We have extras of everything upon request. The studio sleeps 2 comfortably with a queen bed. The closet has an iron and board, extra pillows and blankets, broom & dustpan, toilet plunger and hangers. We have an electric outlet to the driveway area so that electric car owners can charge their vehicles. Upon request, we will activate it and charge those guests $10/day. Guest access Parking is available in the driveway, with paver stairs leading to the studio entrance. The driveway has a spotlight you can turn on from inside the studio. The stairs are well lit with solar lights and a porch light at the entry door. We are working on landscaping the backyard so we advise to keep out of that area, there could be hazards and we don't want you to get hurt during your trip. Other things to note We have a welcome booklet with the most important information to make your stay convenient and comfortable on the console to your right as you walk in the front door. As much as we too love our fur babies, we are not set up for visiting animals and we DO NOT allow any pets or emotional support animals in the studio. Our own dog has never even seen the inside. We do this so that allergy prone guests can rent the place without worry. We cannot, and will not, risk the safety and peace of mind of another guest. Also, our dog has issues with other animals on her property. Sorry about that, but we will not make exceptions with our pet policy. There are many wonderful dog boarding facilities in Bishop (about a half hour away) we have used when we go out of town. There is the K-9 Wellness Center, Donna the Dog Lady, Pampered Pooches and Relaxing Furr Dog Kennels. There are also many pet friendly hotels in nearby Mammoth Lakes, like Mammoth Mountain Inn, The Westin Monache and Tamarack Lodge. There are books and magazines on the console that provide a wealth of local information, but call the place to make sure the information is up to date before visiting. Unless you have Verizon for cell service the reception isn't great at the studio. A short trip to the general store will get you service. We also have free Wi-Fi access for everything else. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full-size refrigerator, full-size range/oven, big stainless sink w/ garbage disposal, Keurig coffee maker and toaster oven. There is K-cup coffee, tea, creamer and sugar in the cabinet, please help yourself. Please let us know if you need anything EXTRA for the kitchen, we have a ton of inventory stored but don't leave it all in the studio. New flat screen SmartTV with YouTubeTV and other streaming available. There is space for boat/trailer parking in the driveway, just let us know beforehand. We would love it if you didn't bring plastic water bottles with you on your trip. Mammoth Lakes passed an ordinance in December 2023 to "Ban the Bottle." As people who recreate outdoors and love the mountains, we all see the effects single-use plastics have on the Mammoth Lakes area — abandoned bottles on the side of a trail or floating in our lakes. We have the cleanest, direct from the snowy mountains, running water from our taps. You have to try it to believe it. I bet it tastes even better than your bottle! We also provide a Brita water filter pitcher in the refrigerator.
