The space This charming schoolhouse was renovated into a home in 1938. You can still see where they shoveled coal for warmth and where children had to run up the hill for the outhouse! The house has been modernized, but we kept the history alive. This cozy home features 3 bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a beautiful fenced yard for your children and pets. We are only 20 to 30 minutes from the beaches, New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Union Pier, and St. Joe. A visit to Spicer Nature Preserve is a must. It is just a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the schoolhouse. Enjoy the beautiful hilly roads, great for bikers and hikers. We are happy to host guests and their pups. There is a 2 dog max and dogs must be spayed or neutered. We charge a $50 pet fee. Please use coverlets on any furniture your pet(s) may lie on. We appreciate your help in managing pet hair. This home has well water that can have a strong odor. It is tested regularly, and is safe. We have a whole house filter and water softener.
