Hidden from the road, the large garden is formally landscaped with magnolia trees and a wisteria archway. Set in the heart of quiet and picturesque Southrop, the village pub offers good food and is a five min walk, as are the restaurant and spa at the acclaimed Thyme hotel. The space Downstairs offers an open plan living room / kitchen / diner with an inglenook fireplace and bathroom. The new kitchen is well equipped & there is underfloor heating. Upstairs are two adjoining bedrooms. Other things to note * It is best to have a car as we are located in a village. Detailed directions and a map are provided. * Ceiling beams are low downstairs. * The two bedrooms interconnect - you walk through the twin to the king bedroom (please see the floorplan). * Our stairs are steep and open into the twin bedroom - this is not suitable for toddlers nor anyone who is unsteady on their feet (please see photos). * There is an uncovered pond - care is needed with small children and dogs. * Well behaved dogs are very welcome, but please not on the beds and other furniture. Those with sensitivities please note we are a dog friendly property.
