The space Built in 1856, historic ‘Tidmarsh’ is a two-storey granite fieldstone house modelled on a rural Irish Inn of the early 19th century. The property was originally built for Patrick Goulding, the town’s postmaster and later clerk of the bench. Tidmarsh is notable for its hand-cut bloodwood shingled roof and granite exterior, a nod to the Goulding’s homeland, Ireland. Sleeping up to 8 people in total, the property features three comfortable king bedrooms, mountain views, a historic steeple, original fireplaces, spacious living rooms, quality kitchens, sunroom, stunning brick French-style courtyard (shared), dedicated outdoor entertaining spaces and an original 1850s bar. Guest access Located in the heart of Braidwood, Tidmarsh is a short stroll from the town's charming cafes and restaurants, antique shops, boutique stores and gallery. Please note, free street parking is available directly outside the property. Other things to note Tidmarsh is a sister property of Mona Farm however, it is located in the heart of Braidwood town (not onsite). While Tidmarsh is a separate dwelling with dedicated entrance and outdoor spaces, the French style courtyard is shared with Long Barn by Mona Farm.
