Colourful, detached family home with 50m-long south-facing garden. Sun fills open-plan kitchen-diner during the day. Lovingly refurbed in 2020. Central location on quiet, green lane in beautiful, historic town of Lewes. Just 5 mins walk to pubs, shops & restaurants. 1 very large master bedroom plus 3 double bedrooms, luxurious bathroom with roll top bath and rainfall shower, 1 shower room, kids' attic area with 2 of the bedrooms and own loo. Ideal for large family or two families sharing. The space It's our family home, which we have modernised with a warm, contemporary style with hints of its Arts and Craft roots. We love hanging out in the large kitchen-diner around the piano. We'd like our guests to feel comfortable here and treat it as they would their own home. Please feel free to use games, books and OS maps of the South Downs National Park. Bedrooms - 4 bedrooms - 2 with double beds (one King-size) - 2 with 1 single bed and pull-out mattress beneath. Kitchen: - open-plan bespoke designed kitchen/dining/sitting area. - large kitchen table (seats 8 ). - Large fridge /freezer with ice maker! - 5-ring gas hob with hot plate. - Rangemaster Electric cooker with two ovens, grill and plate warmer. - Window sofa. Bathrooms: - Three bathrooms (one family, one shower room, second floor WC, downstairs WC). Other rooms and extras: - Sitting room with Smart T.V. and wood burning stove - Utility room with washing machine and dryer. - WiFi Large, 50-metre garden: - terrace with table and four chairs, BBQ. - pond, apple trees and butterfly-covered buddleja. - skate ramp (use at your own risk)! Parking: - Parking for one car on our driveway. The other car parking space is reserved for guests of The Tiny Cottage. Guest access: A key box to the left of the porch (on the outside wall ) will contain several sets of keys. One for the cleaner and two for guests. You'll have access to the entire house and garden, except for the office on the first floor which we use for storage. Other things to note: The Tiny Cottage will be welcoming Air BnB guests during your stay. This will mean that the house will be accessed by our very efficient and charming cleaner at different times of the week to use the washing machine and dryer. She is very quick so you will barely notice her! We are happy to notify you of changeover days so you know when to expect her.
