Tucked up on a little knoll overlooking the beautiful surrounding herb farms, Cardinal Ridge is the kind of place that makes you want to unpack, exhale, and stay awhile. Our guests consistently tell us the home is even better than the photos, and after years of 5-star stays, we think there’s a reason people keep coming back. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable king bedroom, queen bedroom, bunk room, two full baths, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The house has been thoughtfully updated, but we’ve kept all the personality that makes Cardinal Ridge feel less like a rental and more like your own mountain hideaway. Outside is where the fun really begins. The large fenced property gives kids and pups plenty of room to roam, while the fire pit is perfect for cool mountain evenings, s’mores, cocktails, and stories under the stars. Bring your bikes, kayaks, hiking gear, and whatever else you need for a Western North Carolina adventure, there’s plenty of room for it all. Then there’s The Nest, our seasonal three-season bungalow with comfy seating and a 75” smart TV. It’s the perfect hangout for movie nights, watching the game, sneaking away with a book, or simply enjoying a little extra space. Our treehouse is another favorite spot to slow down, catch the mountain breeze, and take in the night sky. Cardinal Ridge has multiple gathering spaces, so your group can spend plenty of time together, or everyone can find their own favorite corner when they need a little downtime. And yes, dogs are absolutely welcome. The fenced yard makes Cardinal Ridge especially easy for guests traveling with furry family members. We’re close to downtown Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, waterfalls, hiking, mountain biking, dining, breweries, and just about everything that makes this part of North Carolina so special — yet when you’re home at Cardinal Ridge, it feels like your own little sanctuary. We love hosting here, and we put a lot of thought into the little touches that make a stay feel special. Our guests seem to notice. So come see what the fuss is all about. We’d love to welcome you to Cardinal Ridge. Other things to note Cardinal Ridge is dog-friendly! Up to two dogs (75 lbs. or less) are welcome with a pet fee. If left unattended, dogs must remain safely inside the cottage. One large crate is available upon request, and we provide pet waste stations and furniture covers. Sorry, no cats due to severe allergies. The freezer does not have an ice maker, but we provide ice trays and a bag of ice for your arrival. For the comfort of all guests, Cardinal Ridge is a smoke- and vape-free home. No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the cottage or The Nest.
