Wake up to mountain views, sip coffee on the wrap-around deck, and breathe in the fresh Maine air. At Mountain View Lodge, every detail is designed for you to relax and recharge. Spend your days skiing at Pleasant Mountain, hiking local trails, or floating down the Saco River - and your evenings gathered around the firepit or curled up by the woodstove. With three bedrooms, two baths, and a fully equipped kitchen, there's space for families, friends, and couples to enjoy all four seasons. The space The well appointed home sleeps up to six, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The main floor offers a queen bedroom and full bath, while upstairs has a king bedroom and a bedroom with two XL twin beds — giving everyone their own space to unwind. Each bedroom (and the living room) has its own AC unit so you’ll be comfortable no matter the season. The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, a wood stove, and big windows that frame the mountain views. Cook meals together in the fully equipped kitchen — stocked with coffee, spices, and even a waffle maker for cozy breakfasts. After dinner, settle into the living room for a movie night on the big-screen Roku TV or head outside for s’mores by the firepit. **************** WOODSTOVE: The woodstove is available to use from November through April. Wood is provided along with newspaper, fire starter, and detailed instructions. FIREPIT: The firepit is available to use year-round although it is not shoveled in the winter. POND: There is a small, shallow pond on the edge of our property; fed by Elkins Brook. When there is enough water, you can kayak right from our house. You will see lots of turtles and frogs. KAYAKS: There are two Old Town Kayaks available for your use. We provide paddles and life vests. We also have a kayak trailer available if you would like to transport the kayaks to a local pond/lake; you will need a hitch on your vehicle to use the trailer. Guest access You are going to be spoiled! We treat all our guests like family and it will be unlike any other rental experience. You’ll have the entire house and property to yourself — from the wraparound deck (perfect for grilling or stargazing) to the firepit area and spacious yard. Plenty of parking is available, and the home has reliable Starlink Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected during your stay. Other things to note We love sharing our home with guests who enjoy the outdoors as much as we do! In the summer, pack swimsuits for trips to nearby lakes or tubing on the Saco River. In the winter, bring your skis, snowboards, or snowshoes — Pleasant Mountain is only 5 minutes away. We’ve made sure the home is stocked with thoughtful extras so you can spend more time relaxing and less time planning. Mountain View Lodge sits on two peaceful acres in Denmark, Maine. You’re just minutes from Fryeburg and 20 minutes from North Conway — close enough for restaurants and shops, but far enough to enjoy quiet nights under the stars. The area is packed with year-round activities: hiking trails, scenic drives, boating, skiing, and snowmobiling are all within easy reach. We are an allergy-friendly house. We use unscented laundry soap (All Free & Clear or Seventh Generation), no artificial fragrances (i.e. Plug-Ins), and scent-free trash bags.
