Mountain get away in the heart of La Veta, CO

Built in 1877, this adobe casita has recently been restored and remodeled with Santa Fe in mind. Conveniently located within walking distance of Main Street shops and restaurants, the casita also offers a lovely view of the Spanish Peaks. The garden is a work in progress, with 24 varieties of day lilies planted in spring and an herb garden in planning. The neighborhood is friendly, with mule deer that occasionally visit.
