Cantina Suite Riverside in Apple Valley

Small Cantina guest suite (189 sq ft) is nestled in the foothills on N St Vrain river, attached to main home. It has private entrance, vaulted ceiling, bar, table, a twin bed, ceiling fan (no AC), under the counter fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster, French drain, 32" streaming TV and Wi-fi. Sliding glass private entrance door and four large windows provide plenty of natural light and cross ventilation. The 3/4 bath, possibly shared, is a short outside walk under a covered veranda. The space This unique guest suite was actually the Apple Valley Farmstead cantina, so there is a bar ambiance. The guest suite, commons veranda and gazebo boast a colorful "south of the border" flair, with viga vaulted ceiling. Perfect get-a-way "She Shed" or "Man Cave" for one !!!! It has a large shared patio and gazebo with gardens, Koi pond, waterfalls, outdoor umbrella seating. BBQ and Green Egg. It is surrounded by beautiful valley views, including Indian Lookout Ridge and Steamboat Mountain. There is abundant open space and only a scenic walk to historic downtown Lyons which has many unique shops, restaurants, and parks. It has a separate entrance and short walk under a covered veranda through the dining room or outside to possibly shared pristine bathroom in the garage. (Shared if the Fishing Cottage suite is booked - private if Fishing Cottage suite is not booked.) 'CATCH and RELEASE' fishing on the 300 feet of river frontage! Lyons is the home of Planet Bluegrass that hosts a Bluegrass Festival in July, Folk Festival in August and other music events during the summer. Lyons is 20 miles from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, 15 miles from Boulder and 40 miles to Denver. There may be other guests on the property. We ask all our guests to respect privacy and quiet time after 9 PM for everyone. We enforce our no indoor smoking and no pet policy for all reservations. The couple in the old farmhouse have 2 cats that may be roaming about. One is quite friendly, the other quite aloof! Accommodations are not suitable for children (0-10) or pets, because of open access to the river and pond. Guest access There is plenty of open parking. Guests will access the Cantina from the Commons Patio on the south side (Apple Valley Road side) of the main house. There is "CANTINA" and "416" signage at the sliding glass door entrance of your room. The shared 300 foot river bank has picnic tables, umbrellas and lawn chairs. There is also a "deeper" spot (swimming hole) in the river with steps and a handrail for cool-offs on a hot summer day! Other things to note The Cantina suite accommodates one guest (one twin bed). Should you require lodging for two, you might consider our Apple Valley Fishing Cottage by the River, on the same property, and also listed on Airbnb. The Fishing Cottage is listed on Airbnb as "Private Room in Lyons - 2 beds)" -- and the picture shown on Airbnb is the little natural cedar attached room with bright blue deck chairs and umbrella. Should you require lodging for three, you might consider booking both the Cantina and the Fishing Cottage. We enforce our no indoor smoking and no pet policies for all reservations. There may be other quests on the property . We ask all our guests to respect privacy and a QUIET TIME of 9 PM. The couple in the old Farmhouse have two cats that may be roaming about. One is quite friendly - - - the other no so much!
