The space Welcome to our studio "Au vol des cigognes" ("Where the storks fly"), located in Osthouse, a small, peaceful Alsatian village, ideally situated between Strasbourg, Colmar and Europa-Park. A cozy standalone studio The studio is completely self-contained and accessible on the ground floor. It enjoys a quiet environment and a pleasant view of the fields and nature. You have a comfortable living area with: • a double bed • a dining area • A TV with the option to log in to your own favorite streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, etc., using your personal account • A ceiling fan and mosquito net • A kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine • Storage A private bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, you can enjoy a private terrace and green space, ideal for breakfast, a coffee, or simply relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Free private parking on-site in front of the accommodation. To help you settle in comfortably as soon as you arrive, we provide a few welcome items: coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine, tea, herbal teas and sugar, as well as soap/shampoo and toilet paper. These little touches are provided to allow you to start your stay off right, with peace of mind. For stays of several days, additional consumables are not restocked during the stay. You can enjoy birdsong, rural landscapes and beautiful sunrises over the Alsatian countryside. A little natural show from the accommodation In spring and early summer, it is not uncommon to see storks from the studio flying over the house or landing in the fields opposite. A simple sight, but one that is particularly enjoyable from the terrace, in the quiet of the Alsatian countryside. Europa-Park and Rulantica The Studio Flat is ideal for guests who want to visit Europa-Park and Rulantica while staying in a quiet environment on the French side. From Osthouse, you can reach the parks by car in about 30 minutes via the bridge, which is accessible 24 hours a day. This allows you to cross the Rhine directly by car, without depending on the schedule or weather conditions of the Rhinau-Kappel ferry, which allows you to fully enjoy your day at the park and return at a time that suits you. Explore Alsace Osthouse is well-located for discovering the main attractions of the region: By car (approximate travel time) • Strasbourg: about 25 minutes • Colmar: about 35 min • Obernai: about 20 minutes • Europa-Park & Rulantica in Germany: about 30 minutes You can also explore the Alsace Wine Route, typical villages, castles, the Vosges, or even the Black Forest in Germany. Transportation Matzenheim or Erstein train stations are close by and, in particular, allow you to reach Strasbourg by train. The advantage of our location is that you can unpack your bags in one place and set off each day to discover a new facet of Alsace, without changing accommodations. Whether you're visiting for Europa-Park, the Christmas markets, to explore the villages and the Wine Route, or for a business trip, the "Au vol des cigognes" studio offers you a comfortable home base in an ideal location for exploring the area. Guest access The studio has independent, single-level access directly from the outside. A private, free parking spot is available for your use in close proximity to the accommodation. Access to the studio is easy and convenient, especially for travelers arriving with luggage. The accommodation is located in a quiet environment in the village of Osthouse, with quick access to the main roads to reach Strasbourg, Colmar, the Wine Route, as well as Europa-Park and Rulantica. Erstein train station, located about 5 minutes away by car, is on the Strasbourg – Colmar – Mulhouse – Basel railway line. From Erstein, you can reach Strasbourg in about 15 minutes by train. 🚗 An ideal location for getting around The accommodation is only 2 minutes from the north-south highway of Alsace, making it easy to reach the main destinations in the area, while being located in a quiet environment, away from traffic noise.
