Enjoy the Wiltshire countryside with Bath and all it's splendour just a few minutes away. This beautiful self-contained annexe has a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, all with amazing views of the countryside. Separate own front door and patio area. Only 15 mins from Bath by car and 10 mins from the historic town of Corsham with Lacock Abbey an easy drive away. Both Stonehenge (1 hour away) and Longleat Stately Home & Safari Park (40 minutes) are not too far away for a visit either. The space Overlooking the Bybrook valley this is a beautiful countryside location yet close to Bath with all its amenities. You enter the property via the entrance hall. There is one step up from the path into the property. In the hall there are hooks for your coats, a tray for shoes and boots and a view of the garden. All of the other rooms are off the hallway. In the kitchen there is a Bosch cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, table and chairs, draws with cutlery and utensils and a store cupboard. Tea and coffee as well as fresh milk are available for your use. The bedroom has a king size double bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowcases, a chest of draws for your clothes, bedside table, USB charging socket, a long mirror and hooks on the door to hang your clothes. There is a hairdryer in the chest of draws for your use while you at staying at the property. In the lounge there is an open fire, sofa and armchair, 32” television with a Firestick for access to Freeview and catch-up TV. The bathroom has a bath and Mira electric shower. Shampoo and shower gel are available for your use. The lounge and bedroom are carpeted and over the winter the kitchen, hall and bathroom floor has been upgraded to improve the look. The kitchen, bedroom and lounge all have stunning views over the valley with the village of Colerne in the background. Outside is a small south facing patio area with a table and chairs for you to enjoy on sunny days Guest access The property is accessed via the gate at the top of the drive, the door is first on the left and faces the back garden. All of the property is on the ground floor, however there is one small step for access to the front door. Other things to note Ideal for a trip into Bath to visit the the attractions of our historic Georgian City. There is a bus stop a short walk away where you can catch a bus direct to Bath City Centre. We have two rescue dogs, Tig who is a 13 year old Border Collie who likes nothing better than to play ball with you, Lola is a three year old Cocker Spaniel. Can we ask you to keep the gate at the top of the drive shut so Tig and Lola don’t take themselves for a walk along the lane, thank you. If you would like to bring your own dog please contact us to discuss. We also have two free range Silkie chickens, Holly and Ivy who are free to roam the garden and may be on the drive when you arrive, they will get out of the way for cars if you drive slowly. If it is a very nice day you may see Dusty our cat too. If you are very lucky you may see a hedgehog visit the garden during the night. I'm a beekeeper so there is always a supply of local honey available. Ellen teaches sewing in the studio at the top of the drive...so you may see a class or two in progress during your stay. There is wicker screening around the patio to give you more privacy should you wish to sit outside.
