The cabin is a converted old schoolhouse and faces out onto views of the mountains, horses, chickens and the surrounding trees. It is a one room schoolhouse and is small and cosy. The bathroom is just outside the room with a door leading to the outdoor shower and private space at the back of the schoolhouse where you can sit and hear the sounds of peacocks and all the sounds of the various birds and creatures of Topanga. The space The room is cosy and quiet. Your space is private and has a small desk to work and an electric fireplace with a mantlepiece. Wifi is good if you work remotely and the bed is very comfy. There is coffee and tea available and snacks on arrival. Guest access There is a large yard that is outside your cabin. The cabin used to be a schoolhouse so we left the swing, slide and monkey bars to accent the space. Other things to note The Topanga Homestead Cottage is also part of the property and can be rented separately or together with The Schoolhouse if it is available. Perfect for families to spend time together.
