Description

Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. Pub closed until 1-1-2026. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–9, Sat 12–9 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬 The space Stay in a 130-year-old historic treasure that sat vacant for two decades before we began bringing it back to life. The building has its quirks—slightly uneven floors, the occasional creak—but that’s part of its story. Every detail reflects the character, charm, and history you won’t find anywhere else. We realize our rates may seem a little higher than expected, but each stay helps fund the ongoing restoration of this incredible building. This isn’t just our livelihood—it’s also a community effort to preserve the Opera House for generations to come. We’re so grateful to our guests for being part of that story while enjoying a one-of-a-kind stay. Please note: we’re not a polished hotel chain with a professional housekeeping staff—we’re regular folks working hard to make this place welcoming. The bed may not be dressed with perfect “hospital corners,” and things may not feel cookie-cutter, but we always clean and sanitize thoroughly so you can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared-for stay. 🍸 Lounge On Site Our lounge features a full bar with great non-alcoholic choices and food service during open hours. Take a stroll, breathe it all in, and let the atmosphere carry you back through time—while still enjoying the comfort of modern conveniences! Other things to note Step into a comfortable, cozy room in a historic Maine landmark. This suite is thoughtfully designed to provide modern convenience while immersing you in the character and charm of a building over a century old. While the space is safe and comfortable, please note that the Opera House is still undergoing restoration. You may notice small quirks or touches in progress—these are part of the building’s personality and story, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. 🛏 Room Features • Queen-sized bed with bedside stand • Loveseat couch, perfect for relaxing or reading • Table and chairs for dining, working, or enjoying a cup of coffee • Wall-mounted flatscreen smart TV • Heating and cooling provided by an efficient Midea unit, plus a Rinnai wall heater for colder months • Comfortable, welcoming design to make your stay relaxing Please note: we’re a small, family-run operation—not a corporate hotel.
