Birch Street Getaway

Perfect for the family, just one block from the city park & forest this comfortable two bedroom cottage is just what you need for a relaxing getaway. The living room and dining area have original hardwood floors. A gas fireplace in the living room adds beauty & comfort. The fully equipped kitchen has a sunny breakfast nook. One bedroom has a queen bed & the other has a double bed. There is a hidabed in the living room. A gas grill, picnic table & lawn furniture are provided for your enjoyment . The space This cottage is in a safe neighborhood on a quiet street only 8 blocks from historic downtown Flagstaff. There is a wonderful city park 1 block away with play equipment, tennis courts, picnic tables and grills. This park is right on the edge of the forest. The city ball fields are just 4 blocks away. Wheeler park is 6 blocks toward the downtown. Many summer festivals occur at this park. If you like to hike a little the Lowell Observatory is but a short hike on Birch St. up a hill. Guest access This entire cottage is yours to enjoy, including the washer & dryer. We even provide the laundry detergent. The front & back yard is fully fenced with nice landscaping, comfortable lawn furniture & a gas grill. We do accept pets with a small fee to cover the extra cleaning necessary after a pet visits. Please speak with the host about bringing a pet. Other things to note We provide coffee, teas and a snack basket for you to enjoy while you are with us. We have creams & sweeteners. The front and back yards are fenced 'This cottage has 3 steps to enter through the front door. If you have difficulty with steps the entrance through the back door to the cottage has no steps. Should you need a shower chair we will have it in the cottage when you arrive. Just ask us.
