This home is perfect for families or couples looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy SW Florida. A safe place for leisurely walks (strollers for the tiny folks too). If you'd rather "stay in" Peacock Place has it all: a peaceful Lanai with plenty of seating by the heated pool w/all the toys, BBQ Grill, 4 kayaks/fishing gear and free Wi-Fi The space The living area: You'll love this open concept home with a great living area boasting a large sofa, a love seat, a lazy boy rocker, a large TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a roll top desk full of games, books and puzzles for all ages. All TVs in the house are set up for you to stream using your subscription of choice or use the free content. There's a washer and dryer with supplies for you to use. The dining area has a wooded table, set up for 6 people with an extra leaf and 4 chairs in the garage if needed. Set the A/C to your desired temp. Master bedroom suit: This room boasts a king-sized bed with a large dresser and mirror, a 40" TV, nightstands with USB connections for all those electronics we need. It also has a couple suitcase racks, a glider chair, a box fan as some like the light noise to help them fall asleep and a small closet to hang up some cloths. The connected bathroom has a double sink vanity, a walk-in shower with a flexy hose shower head, a hair dryer, a private toilet room, hand sanitizer/soaps and all the towels you'll need. Bedroom #2: This spacious room has a Queen-sized bed with a large dresser and mirror, a suitcase rack, nightstand with 110 plug ins for your electronics, a box fan and a large closet. Bedroom #3: This room has full sized bunk beds and a large dresser , a suitcase rack, upper and lower nightstands with USB connections for your electronics, a box fan and a large closet. Weight limit of 250 pounds on bunk beds. Bathroom #2: Bedrooms #2 and #3, share this hallway bathroom with a single sink vanity, a walk-in shower with flexy hose shower head, a hair dryer, a toilet, hand sanitizer/soaps and all the towels you'll need. This bathroom is also connected to the pool area for a quick pool exit when nature calls or to rinse off when finished in the pool. The game room: We've used the garage space to offer you some games to play to increase your skills or to work off some of that energy. Challenge your siblings, friends or parents to a game of Ping Pong, Foosball or Darts. There are chairs here for the spectators to use while waiting their turn. Take the corn Hole or Bad Mitten games out the side door to our open lawn area where there's plenty of room for these activities. In the garage you'll also find 11 different sized life jackets to pick from to use in the pool or with the 4 kayaks by the boat dock. There are 2 fishing poles and fishing gear for you to test your luck in what you can catch out of the canal. This is a saltwater canal so who knows what you might catch!! In the garage, there's also beach supplies for a good time at the nearby beaches; a Coleman cooler on wheels, a large sandless beach blanket, an 8' beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs, a mesh shoulder bag with beach towels and sand toys for the youngsters to use. The Lanai and pool area: Another great place to relax or to entertain is the large Lanai with plenty of furniture to comfortably seat 10 people. Watch your favorite program on the 40" TV while in one of the floating rafts or chairs or pull up to the Tekie bar under the 8' umbrella to have your favorite beverage. The bug free screened in pool is heated to around 86 degrees F so you can jump right in without feeling the chill. There's plenty to do in the pool with a basketball hoop, a volleyball net, water dive toys, nerf balls and plenty of colorful noodles to enjoy. There are lights around the pool that you can plug in and enjoy or you can unplug them if you like and turn the pool light on to add a special touch to the occasion. The back yard: Just outside the area to the left you'll find a couple chairs to lay flat or Adirondack chairs to help soak up that Florida sun while someone is preparing your favorite steak, burger or veggies on the gas BBQ grill, off to the left. Make your way down the sidewalk toward the canal to find the 7000 lb. load capacity covered boat lift for your boat or a rented one perhaps. Here you'll also find 4 ten-foot-long kayaks for a relaxing stroll down the canal and out to the river. To help you relax even more, put yourself in one of the Adirondack chairs by the canal while watching the sun set and the flicker of the Tekie torches around you. It's very quiet in this area at night. You'll love it!! Guest access The entire house is yours to use except the Master bedroom closet that we keep locked for the cleaning service and to store supplies. There is also a locked owners storage cabinet in the garage. Other than that, please make yourself at home! Other things to note There is an extra propane tank for the BBQ Grill in the event the one in these unit run out. There are also 2 fire extinguishers, one behind the door going into the garage and one under the kitchen sink. Other things to note - A short drive to yacht club beach and fishing pier where you can take the provided fishing rods to try your hand at catching fish with the locals. - about 35 minutes to world famous Sanibel Island and Captiva beach. - about 10 minutes from sun splash water park - about 15 minutes to Matlacha and pine Island where you can visit one of the many fresh seafood markets to bring home a nice grouper or snapper filet or head the Island seafood market to pick up your special seafood to cook on the BBQ by the pool - about 30 minutes to Fort Myers beach -about 2 hours to Tampa, Miami or Everglades
