Enjoy some of most breathtaking views in Sonoma County at this 28 acre apple orchard home. During the day, you can enjoy the outdoors with hikes along Bodega Bay, the town of Sebastopol and some of our local wineries. The house is perched up on a hill away from the city lights and surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Sebastopol has many fine restaurants which are all nearby. The space The house is a beautiful open floor plan with spacious rooms for dining, entertaining, or relaxing on the deck or gardens. There are three private bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you will need with utensils, cookware, small appliances to cook a gourmet meal or you can cook outdoors on the Weber grill. The dining room is large enough to seat 8, and also an outdoor dining area for you to sit and view the apple trees and birds that dot the gardens. The living room has a baby grand piano, Direct TV, fireplace and a bluetooth speaker to stream your favorite music channels. You'll notice that light pours in from every room in the house that you will want to sit in the sunroom and spend your mornings sipping tea or coffee while chatting with friends or family. This is also a great space for kids and if needed twin beds are available. Please ask the host. The Orchard- The apple orchard has five different apple varieties, Gravenstein, Golden Delicious, Roman Beauty, Granny Smith and Jonathan. There is a peach, pear and asian apple trees on the property. We do not spray the fruit as we are an organic farm. Harvesting the apples begins mid-September through October. The Field- Just down the road is a grassy area where your pooch can run and enjoy the open space. This area is not fenced so please be aware that there are other living creatures on our property, ( they were here first). You'll be able to see deer, bobcats, wild turkeys, quail, and hares. We are 3.4 miles from Main Street, Sebastopol. Enjoy the sights of our quaint town down Main Street or at the Barlow, where there are many outdoor restaurants and shops that feature crafts from local artists. There are many world class wineries that are close by. We will provide maps, information and coupons so you can experience our favorite wineries. A trip to Bodega Bay, which is 20 miles along the scenic back roads. Bodega Bay has some of best seafood especially the Dungeness crab and salmon when in season. Hiking and biking trails are very popular in our area. Be careful driving along Bloomfield Road, as you will find many cyclists. Guest access As you enter the gated drive, you will be surrounded by apple trees and wildlife. You will see deer roaming on the property, and also wild turkeys, quail abound. You have full access to the house, the grounds and fields. There is a creek towards the front gate. Be careful, it is advised not to walk during the evening hours that's when an occasional bobcat, or fox will pop out onto the road. Parking is located anywhere near the front door.
