Our house, classified by the Heritage Foundation, is located in the hamlet of Marazeil and depends on the municipality of Ispagnac (approximate distances: 8 km by car and 11 km by the GR that passes in front of the house). It includes 3 residential houses and an agricultural farm. The space If you love peace and quiet, the great outdoors and breathtaking views, come and spend your vacation with us! Since 2009, our house has been classified by the Heritage Foundation, due to its typical Lozère architecture (stone corbels, slate roof without framework). The house is approximately 70 m², and is composed as follows: Main room (approximately 35 m²): - a living room area with sofa, TV, radio, wood stove - a kitchen area, with stove (3 gas burners and 1 electric burner), electric oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, microwave, Senseo coffee maker, electric kettle and minimum cooking equipment (pressure cooker, plates, glasses, cutlery etc.) - bathroom with shower and toilet. Please note that bath linens are not provided. Upstairs (about 35 m²), you will find 2 vaulted bedrooms: - Bedroom 1: only 1 queen size bed; - Bedroom 2: 2 single beds (0.90 m). These can be converted into 1 large bed of 180 cm. Bedroom 2 provides access to the garden. There is small storage in each room. Linens are only provided for an extra fee for the duration of the stay. (€10/bed) Balcony and outdoors. A private balcony will allow you to enjoy breakfast or an aperitif in the shade of the parasols. You can also eat outside in the small garden adjoining the house. We leave the garden furniture available (table, chairs, umbrella, relax). There is also a barbecue (to be used at will but always with caution, by connecting the garden hose, supplied with water, from the cellar to the barbecue. To cook your meat, you must move the barbecue one meter away from the nearest wall. Basement. This is the old sheepfold, in vaulted stones, which now serves as a cellar. It has been preserved in its original condition. However, for convenience, it has been equipped with a second toilet. Telephone/Internet The area is covered by the majority of telephone operators. Please note, no internet and Wi-Fi, but 5G available Regarding cleaning, I simply ask that the house be returned in about the same condition as you found it, if you don't want to do the cleaning, the fee will be 50. To discover, nearby and not too far from the house: The many hiking and mountain biking trails, the Gorges du Tarn and Jonte with its vultures, the famous causses, the GR of Pope Urban V which passes in front of the house, the Grand Chemin de Stevenson, the Rûnes waterfall, the Barandon pond, the Cham des Bondons (around 150 menhirs with a fun course), Mas Camargues, the peaks of Mont Lozère or Mont Aigoual and discover the farms producing the famous Pélardon and Lozère meat. To refresh you, the Tarn, the Tarnon or the Mimente (swimming, seasonal fishing, canoeing). We leave maps and hiking ideas available. In Ispagnac, hikes with donkeys are possible. Inquire for availability. Amenities nearby: 15 minutes away, towards Alès, you will find the village of Florac which has all the amenities necessary for the well-being of your stay, including DAB La Banque Postale and Crédit Agricole, restaurants, bars, farm grocery stores with local products, butcher and two convenience stores (Intermarché and Carrefour Market). The Intermarché in Florac has a laundromat and a gas station. Many events take place throughout the summer (village festivals, entertainment around regional products and crafts). Markets in Ispagnac (Tuesday and Saturday mornings) and Florac (every Thursday morning). Please note: The house is not accessible for people with disabilities. Weekly rental only, in July/August. Pets not allowed. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and adjoining garden to dine, barbecue or relax. If we are unable to welcome you on the day of your arrival, a key box allows you to retrieve the key to access the house. A code to open the key box is sent to you on the day of your arrival. Other things to note Cleaning options €50. If the cleaning option is not chosen, it remains the responsibility of the guest who undertakes to leave the house in the same clean condition as they found it on arrival. Do not use bleach for cleaning. Do not flush tampons, sanitary towels, condoms, baby diapers or anything else that is not easily degradable. Bed linen and bath linen are provided as an option. Dish towels are provided. Napkins are not provided.
