Description
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The space It is a house that, being on a corner, has a lot of light that also enters through a back patio. The house is large and well equipped to spend a few very pleasant days. Above all, it is designed to rest and disconnect since it is a quiet area with no traffic, the rooms can be completely dark due to the blinds. The terrace on summer nights is ideal for an aperitif or a few drinks in the moonlight, the garland and the mountain light that lights up at night. We have a Bar "Carriles" right in front of us that we recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner to make your experience complete since many times you don't feel like cooking. Other things to note From the location of the house, we recommend walking through the surrounding streets, especially those that go in the direction of Calle Saucos, Calle Guindaleta, Calle Caracol, the views offered by "El Mirador del Calvario" The "Mirador del San Antonio" is a must-see, and for the more intrepid and adventurous, the climb to "La Cruz del Tajo" from which you can see spectacular views that fall short, not recommended for people who suffer from vertigo. We recommend taking the "Calzada Romana" trail that begins its route near the Convent and ends in Benaocaz. Once there, a must-visit is the "Nazari neighborhood", a place of sensations. You have to visit "La cola del pantano de los Hurones" (especially with the swamp full) because it is a place that provides very pleasant sensations, such as peace and serenity. A must-visit is the "Leather Museum" and the "Roman City of Ocuris" Don't miss: The Cavalcade of Kings, the "San Blas" festival in Benaocaz, the carnivals, especially the "Chorizada", Holy Week, the "Subida el Cuero" rally, the "Feria de la Piel", the "Bajada de los Romanos", the "Andalusia Festival Legend", the "Crujida de los Gamones", the Romería, the Fair in September and the "Belén Viviente" in December. We also recommend taking a walk along Avenida Doctor Solis Pascual, which is the nerve center. Walking along this street under the canopy of century-old trees is a pleasant experience. The liveliest street is the pedestrian street "Avenida de España" which is a street full of shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, stores, banks and all kinds of shops, it is usually full or very crowded at any time of the day. As I said, Ubrique has a lot of things and events to do and enjoy that a single visit is not enough. We recommend visiting Ubrique several times a year as it will surprise you.
