Description
Escape to peaceful Stone Lake, a quiet, private lake with no public access. Whether you’re planning a romantic retreat or a getaway with family and friends, our cozy log cabin offers everything you need for a relaxing, stress-free stay. You’ll enjoy easy access to the Superior Hiking Trail, with Two Harbors just 30 minutes away and Duluth within a 50-minute drive. Stone Lake’s clear, 175-acre waters offer excellent fishing year-round, making it a perfect destination in both summer and winter. The space Our spacious log cabin features an open layout that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Thoughtful additions provide plenty of room to gather while maintaining a cozy cabin atmosphere. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen ideal for meals with family and friends, a sunroom with lake views for morning coffee, and a living room perfect for game or movie nights with a 65" 4K TV, Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu. Two full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of linens. Relax by the wood-burning stove (firewood provided), unwind on the patio or by the backyard fire, or take a short walk down to the lake for a drink and sunset views. Be sure to inquire about our newly built sauna! Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cabin, including the washer and dryer located in the basement. The sauna is available for use with an additional fee. Please note that the garage is not accessible to guests. Other things to note The cabin is located at the end of a private, single-lane dirt road. You’ll see “Private Road / No Trespassing” signs along the way—these apply to through traffic and not to our guests. While the road is plowed in winter, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended, as conditions can be muddy at times. High-speed Wi-Fi is available, along with a T-Mobile cell signal booster to help keep you connected. Please note that there is no direct boat or public lake access from the property, as the cabin sits on a hill above the water. However, we do provide several watercraft for guest use, including kayaks, a paddleboat, and a canoe.
