In this room on the second floor is a comfy Queen Size bed with a memory foam topper. You will have access to two shared full bathrooms. You will also have use of the kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and, of course, the piano! There is free off-street parking. We have a great front porch that faces historic tree-lined Southern Parkway (part of the Olmstead Park system) and a lovely back deck with table, chairs, and hammock that is perfect for relaxing or sipping your coffee or beverage of choice. We do have another listing, and, while it is rare that we have guests in both rooms, on busy weekends (Derby, Farm Machinery Show, Forecastle and other music festivals, St. James Art Fair, etc) it is possible that you may share common areas with another fellow Airbnb-er. We may be traveling when you visit. If so, there will be a lock-box with a code to access a key. Guest access You are welcome to any door that isn't closed. Please don't enter our bedroom, the other guest room or the basement. During your stay Interaction can be as much or as little as you need. We respect your privacy but are happy to be ambassadors of our city. There is also one other room in house listed, so you may occasionally see other guests. It's possible we will be traveling when you visit. If so, there will be a lock-box with a code to access a key. Other things to note Our garage and parking area are in the back of our property. When navigating, it's best to use our house number with Brook Park Drive as the address for GPS. That will lead you straight to our garage (photo in the pictures). Park in the "driveway" part that won't block either of the garage doors. Thanks! We have a very friendly kitty named Bijou who can be as much or as little a part of your stay as you'd like. She is not allowed in the bedroom since some guests may be allergic, but she does generally have free range of the rest of the house, although we can confine her to the living room during your stay, if you prefer.
