Welcome to CoCööN @TheCameronHouse! Centrally situated/20 min walk from beach & DT. This spacious sophisticated space has been meticulously designed and custom-curated with all your needs in mind. A fully provisioned kitchenette, luxury linens & bedding, adjustable king bed, fireplace & leather sofa, are to name but a few of the luxuries you will experience. This brand new space has all the offerings of a 5-star retreat and is sure to exceed the expectations of even our most discerning guests. CoCööN is outfitted with a king-sized ADJUSTABLE bed, a new memory foam mattress and a Bloom 3" cool gel mattress topper. Egyptian & 680+ thread count cotton linens, goose down duvet for our cold sleepers, and cotton velvet coverlet for our warmer sleepers. Plus, your choice of cool memory foam or down pillows. Other elements to ensure a sound slumber...CoCööN has day/night blinds throughout, offering light filtering, blackout or full view options. Forced air gas and central air conditioning will provide the perfect indoor temperature year-round...even when it is 48'C outside! ;) SECOND TO SLEEP.....COFFEE!! Coffee lovers rejoice (you are my people)...CoCööN is equipped with both a Cuisinart coffee grinder and maker, plus a Nespresso machine with milk frother (sadly, Geroge Clooney not included). Bring your barista skills. Cold or hot, your perfect cafe awaits you! For our Tea enthusiasts (not judging..........TOTALLY judging!! lol) we have not forgotten about you. A kettle, with a visual colour-code, will allow you to customize your temperature to suit your tea and your taste. You're welcome! For all the moments in between coffee (or tea), there is the "Boozey Bar Cart". From shakers to shots glasses and ice bucket to wine chiller. Fancy wine opener and also wine stoppers (FYI those are special corks used for leftover wine (hahaha! "leftover wine") Bring your own booze and skills of Tom Cruize but please please please drink responsibly...red wine is to remain in your glass at all times. TV & INTERNET: 55" Roku 4K TV with full HD Telus Optik cable and 4 theme packs (including Crave/HBO, News, movies, and sports packs). Netflix is also included or, you can bring your own Prime account or use the Telus Internet 300 (300 mbps upload & download speeds) provided to stream. Enjoy! KITCHEN: A FULLY provisioned kitchen when you are not dining out...oils, spices, coffee, tea, utensils, salad spinner, Ninja blender, popcorn machine, rice and egg cooker...to name a few of the extras at your disposal! These are in addition to all the things you would expect to find in a kitchen. The new Frigidaire fridge has both a water dispenser and ice maker ensuring your drinks stay cold, while you stay hydrated! ;) Can't find something you need, just ask! I have an endless supply of kitchen gadgets at your disposal. BATHROOM: This serene bathroom has all the luxuries of a zen-like spa. Plush hotel-quality towels and lavish bathrobes, liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, shower caps & hair towels, exfoliating sponges, q-tips, hairdryer, hot tub towels, mini toothpaste, makeup organizer, and makeup removal pads are provided...now you have room for that extra pair of shoes in your luggage ;) For stays 5 days or more, there is a washer and dryer also available for your use (for your personal items only). NOTE: All linens and towels provided by The Cameron House, go through a special sanitization cycle in the main house. BACKYARD: CoCööN has its very own covered private patio space. Perfect for both dining and lounging and doubles as the foyer to your space. Beyond your patio, the backyard is a common shared space @The Cameron House. It is a fenced-in urban oasis situated in between the main and coach house, offering a bbq area, a sunning area, and two 10x12 hardtop sun shelters. One provides the perfect hot tub hideaway. The other, an outdoor lounge/dining space complete with 2 sofas, lounge chairs, rug, and fire table...a perfect setting for a hot dog roast or s’mores fest. Both are adorned with a canopy of fairy lights to emulate a starry night sky. This shared space is a wonderful opportunity for an intimate social setting, with a shared glass of wine and engaging conversation. Of course, we will be mindful of everyone's individual comfort level. Guest access You shall have private entry, use, and access to all of CoCööN. Entry details will be shared with you upon arrival. Other things to note Your host will greet you upon arrival and will do a walk-through of the property, sharing with you where to find and how to use everything.
