Situated in the simply stunning and very private location of 'Yal Ku' Akumal, lucky to often escape the sargasso due to the bay entrance and lagoon, this stunning property also has private access to one of the best kept treasures of the Riviera Maya, 'Yal Ku Laguna', with it’s open cenote and bay area. Sun, snorkel, and nature lovers will find a very special location to experience living both near the Caribbean Sea and jungle at the same time almost like it’s in your own back garden. The space With high ceilings and large private terrace this spacious two bedroom, two bathroom penthouse apartment has all you need to stay modern and connected and entertained day and night, Nearly every direction you look when in the apartment you can see the trees and jungle outside with nobody able to see in. Large rooms and space to relax, play or entertain. A grand terrace with dining and relaxing area where many species of bird can be spotted as you let the day unwind swinging in the hammock. Or pop down the to the pool or lagoon for a quick dip and listen to the sounds of the jungle and the sea. An important point to note is that we do not have gas here so we do not need a carbon monoxide alarm. We use electric only. Guest access Tennis court, quiet pool with a jungle view, free lagoon park access and private small cenotes. Other things to note We are a very private street on the side of the lagoon and sea. Access is free to the lagoon and it's just a very short walk passing the tennis court to the lagoon. Magic. Yal Ku lagoon is one of the only open cenotes on the riviera and it is a protected area. Translated from Mayan as "where the small fish live safely" or " wonderful". A very special and unique place to swim and snorkel, with areas to walk and relax in privacy. Passing outside the lagoon, a large shallow bay links to the sea, the bay is protected by a coral reef and small opening to the sea. A very unique place. We are very grateful to know it. It is not permitted to cross over through the public paid parks entrance to Half Moon Bay (unless you pay their fee), in the same way the public are not allowed onto our unique property, with our private lagoon access. Which keeps our location very private and secure. For children we are happy to discuss no extra guest costs, the extra guest cost for more than 4 people is referring to extra adults.
